Barret sits in his office with his legs propped up on his desk, staring up at the ceiling flipping a coin in his hand. "E-excuse me, sir may I talk with you for a minute?" Cory stands at the doorway with his hands behind his back. "Of course, come sit down and we can talk. Shut the door okay?" Barret adjusts his posture to look at Cory. Cory sits down in the chair in front of Barret. "So, what did you want to talk about?" Barret folds his arms crossing his legs. "Well, I was wondering if I could take time off because my wife is pregnant and I wanted to be there for her to help her out." Cory looks down at the ground. "Oh really?" Barret asks leaning forward slightly. "P-please sir I have to be there for my wife." Cory stutters looking back up at Barret. Barret chuckles. "You wanna know what I think, Cory?" Barret stood up and walked over to Cory putting his hands on his shoulders and lowering his head close to Cory's ear. "I think that you're lying." Barret whispers into Cory's ear. "Sir I'm telling the truth!" Cory says in a panic. "Do you know what I do to liars, Cory?" Barret stands up straight. Cory stands up in a panic. "SIR PLEASE!" Cory screams. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience Cory but I don't tolerate liars." Barret says as he strangles Cory until he stopped struggling. Cory's lifeless body dropped to the floor with a thud. "Another one goes a new one comes." Barret says sitting back down in his chair. "I assume that you need someone to do away with the body?" Carol steps into Barret's office. "I suppose so." Barret sighs. "Though I have a great hatred for humans I still feel bad that I had to kill him, he was good at his job. Sadly I have to break the news to his wife." Barret stares at Carol shoving Cory into a body bag. "That's what I love about you sir even though you hate humans you still feel sympathy for them when they die." Carol zips up the bag and fixes her skirt. "Carol, why do you think I treat you better than any of the other humans that work here?" Barret asks. "Well, I never stopped to wonder why you liked me more than the others." Carol admits. Barret pats his leg signaling for Carol to sit on his lap. Carol's face becomes red and hot at the thought of sitting on his lap. "You're different than other humans, you're special. You have something that is rare in humans these days. Both of your parents were non-humans." Barret says staring up at her. "That is true." Carol looks down towards Barret's blank black face. "But that's only one reason why I treat you better." Barret wraps his arms around Carol. "Is he going to do it?" Carol thinks to herself getting a little excited. "Everything about you reminds me of a certain human I met when I was a kid." Barret sighs leaning his head forward pressing it into Carol's hip. "I miss her. At least I have you, Carol." Barret sighs again. "Oh, um." Carol looks disappointed. "Is something wrong?" Barret looks up at Carol. "No, I just didn't know you liked another human." Carol smiles wearily. "You should probably get back to work." Barret let's go of Carol. "Okay." Carol says slipping off of Barret's lap and walking out the door the body bag in hand. "That woman is never satisfied." Barret sighs.
