I close my eyes but forget to sleep
Earth isn't where I'm meant to be
Look at the moon she looks lonely
I wish I could put her soul at ease

If I could fly to outer space
And finally leave this messed up place
I'd take my time to replace
The tired look on her stony face

She'd dance with me and spin lovely
She's won me over can't you see
With skin so pale and eyes pearly
Sir, the moon's the only one for me

Forget the birds and the bees
The stars are where I want to be
We'll be free oh, don't you see
When we abandon gravity

So I'll fall in love in her space
Yes I'll fall free into her embrace
I said I won't look back 'cause it's to late
No one would miss me anyways
