(BoZ) Ares x Female Reader

Y/n P. O. V

I was training with my sister, Alexia. She and I were to go with different troops to different points so we could chase down the three demons. So far, I'm beating her ass. I got to use my swords at her which she both blocked but left an opening. I sweeped her legs from underneath her. She fell on the ground with a grunt.  

"Nice job, Alexia. But you left an opening." I told her.
"Sorry bout that, Y/n. I think it time we part ways. It's sunset. We should get going."
I gave her a playful salute and ran to hug her.
"Please stay safe, Lex. I wouldn't know what to do without you."
She hugged me back. "I will, N/n. I love you little sister."
"I love you too."
We pulled away and gathered our troops.
"MY GROUP COME FORTH! WE ARE LEAVING NOW." Alexia yelled
"AND ALL IN MY GROUP FOLLOW ME!" I yelled.

We all got on our horses. I nodded to Alexia as I put on my helmet. She nodded back.
We went our separate ways.

As we were walking through the forest, we heard rustling. We looked up to be greeted by not one, not two, but THREE demons.
"Oh fuck." I cussed out loud.
Two of them landed on my soldiers, while one ran away. "My lady, we got this. Take three men and chase after him." One of my soldiers replied. I sadly nodded and got three soldiers with me. We were able to catch up to the demon and we attacked. I threw my spear and got it back, I jumped and jabbed it deep in his head, immediately killing it. I turned around to see the two others that came up and killed my three soldiers. I gasped and shut my eyes, already knowing my fate. Is this it? The end? Suddenly, I heard a huge crack and looked up.

A  man with a helmet, black armor and a hammer? Mace? I can't seem to tell. But he sure as heck got those demons down in like, two seconds.
He turned around a removed his helmet. I had an idea of who this person was:
"Ares, God of War, at your service m'lady." He said, extending out his hand so he could hauel me up. He looks so... hot. Apollo should be jealous over the hotness of Ares. Was it the red eyes, or the scruff..? I shook my head and accepted his outstretched hand. 
"Thank you, my lord."

3rd  P.O.V

Ares Couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the young lady. Her long/short, braided/pixie cut h/c hair, her shiny e/c eyes, he didn't know what really attracted him to her, but he felt the connection.
"Look out!" Y/n yelled quickly, throwing her spear towards the demon that was about to attack him. It hit his face, right in the eye, and Ares used his weapon to knock out the demon and officially kill it.

Ares was surprised at the woman's skills. "In case you're wondering, my sister is the leader of the Amazons. That's how I learned how to fight. Even better than her." The young woman explained.
"Oh. So that's where you know how to fight. That's interesting." Ares replied.
"Where are you headed off to?"
"Since my warriors are dead and my goal is not technically completed, I have to report to my sister, Grand Archon Alexia." Y/n explained as she pulled out her spear, while checking to make sure her swords are at her waist, as well as her quiver and bow. "Now if you'll excuse me, My Lord."

Ares waited for a Moment, contemplating whether to join her until she finds her sister or just leave her be. She is powerful, but if she is ambushed?
"Wait." Y/n paused in her steps and turned around. "Yes?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowing. "Let me join you, until you find your sister." He replied.
Y/n eyes widened. "O-oh. But are you sure? I think I can handle on my own."

"You'll need someone to watch your back, Y/n." He said. And oh boy did it make Y/n blush, the way her name rolled of his tongue. "A-alright. Come on then." She picked up her helmet and dusted it off, placing it on her head and they headed off to the path that Y/n remembered that Alexia said she'd go through. "This way."
"Are you sure, Y/n?" Ares asked. "I remember it well, Ares. We talked over the plan many times." Y/n explained. Ares nodded his head.
"Alright."

Time skip, hey, how did y'all react to the ending of Blood of Zeus?

We continued hiking through the paths, and slightly exhausted I supported my weight against a tree.
"Are you alright, Y/n? You seem tired." Ares questioned. Y/n took a deep gulp of air. "I'm alright, thank you." She continued walking, sweat dripping down her forehead. "Let's take a break, N/n." Y/n blushed at the nickname. Only Alexia calls her that. And when the God of War called her that, her heart fluttered.

"N-no it's alright. Don't worry let's keep going forward."
Ares gave her a look. "Alright fine."
They both sat down on a nearby log, and Ares saw her fidgeting with her helmet.

"Are you thirsty? I can get you some water."
"Uh yeah, sure." Y/n replied.
Ares stood up and went towards a nearby river.
He splashed his face with water and looked at his reflection.
"Look at yourself, you're too horrible for her. You don't deserve her. She's so powerful, so gorgeous, so..."
"Ares?" The God turned around with eyes the size of plates.
"I- um Y/n. I want expecting you here."
"I heard what you said, Ares."
The God blushed many shades of red.
"O-oh. You did, huh?" He looked away.
"Hey," the young woman grabbed his face in her hands, "I feel the same way, Ares. I find you a very interesting and amazing God. I think this is what people call love."  This time it was Y/n's turn to blush. "I think so too..." Ares replied, and cupped her face while they both leaned in.
"Y/n I..."
He couldn't finish his sentence as their lips met. Gradually, the kiss got deeper and more intense. Their tongues danced with each other. When they pulled away a string of saliva still connected them.
They both smiled and continued their journey, and had a little fun behind one tree because why not. ;)
