Kaira's POV

I didn't see Ayaan for the following days. I got his messages in between which I ignored even though my mind was eating me up alive and my heart kept screaming to have a talk with him. I didn't visit Big Yellow Door for almost a week and instead went to a library nearby. But it was too quiet for me and I was unable to think. The easy-breezy, playful environment of the cafe had all my heart. I missed talking with Avni and flirting with Ayaan. I missed hearing his music every Friday and Saturday. I don't know if it's normal to feel this attached to people or more precisely to Ayaan just in some two weeks of our meet. But if it's not normal then I guess I am abnormal as I have been missing his stupid smile a lot. I groaned loudly as the girl sitting right next to me gave me a tough glare. I gave her a pressed smile in return and got up from my seat gathering up my belongings. I stuffed everything into my backpack and threw it on my back as I made my way out hurriedly.

I walked through the streets of Delhi finding my way back to that familiar yellow door and I found it eventually. I smiled widely when Avni standing at the counter came into my vision through that glass window beside the yellow door and I rushed to open the door. The windchime above rang loudly and I felt Avni looking at me. She smiled genuinely and rushed away from the counter without bothering about the customer at the front. I chuckled at her stupidity but my girl is just like that. I threw my hands up in the air when she came closer and pulled her into a tight hug. She chuckled in my embrace and so did I. The people around us threw a confused glare but I didn't care. I was happy to be back here. I pulled back and looked at her with a big smile.

"I missed reading those crumbled notes you threw," she said making a face and looking stupid. I laughed.

"I will be throwing away a lot now as I am so pumped up to start all over again," I said and winked at her making her chuckle.

"Your latte and a classic crispy cheeseburger are coming at your desk, away from the rush," she said dramatically making me laugh again.

"Aw, you make me fall in love with you, girl," I said and pulled her cheek. She made a pained face and rubbed her cheek after I left the grip.

"That I doubt as I am pretty sure someone else pulled you here and that someone is eyeing you right now," she said and gestured past me. I had an urge to look at him but I am not falling into the trap. Besides, I don't believe in love at first sight. It's lust at first sight.

"I don't want to talk with him as I hate him," I said rolling my eyes and took out my backpack while making the way towards my table in the corner.
