𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐈𝐗 - the boggart
Cassiopeia and Hermione walked into Defence Against the Dark Arts together and said bye to eachother as they took their seats next to their friends. Professor Lupin wasn't in the class yet so the students carried on their conversations. Cassie went and sat next to Theo. He looked up at her and said, "Are you alright? I heard about what happened at breakfast."
"Yeah I'm fine, Hermione came and helped," Cassie explained to her friend. Theo looked at her confused.
"Wait Granger? Why did she help you?" asked Theo, clearly confused.
"Oh I'm not sure. She said if I wanted to talk to her she would always listen. I thought that was rather nice of her," said Cassie. Everyone in the class got out there books, quills and parchment and waited for Professor Lupin. When he finally arrived he smiled at the class and put his briefcase on the desk.
"Good afternoon. Would you please put all your books back in your bags. Today we will be doing a practical lesson. You will only need your wands," said Professor Lupin, ignoring the confused looks the class was giving him. The last practical lesson the class had was when their old teacher had brought in a cage of pixies and set them loose around the class.
"Right then, if you'd follow me," Professor Lupin said.
Cassie and Theo looked at eachother, both interested in what the Professor had planed for them today. He led the class along a deserted corridor and around a corner, where they saw Peeves the Poltergeist. Peeves was floating upside down in mid-air and stuffing the keyhole of a door with chewing gum.
Peeves looked up at Professor Lupin and started singing, "Loony, loopy Lupin. Loony, loopy Lupin, loony, loop Lupin-"
To the classes surprise, Professor Lupin was smiling at the Poltergeist. "I'd take that gum out of the keyhole if I were you, Peeves," he said. "Mr. Filch won't be able to get in to his brooms."
Peeves paid no attention to what the Professor said. Professor Lupin gave a sigh and took out his wand. "This is a useful little spell," he said to the class. "Pay attention."
He pointed his wand at Peeves and said, "Waddiwasi!" The piece of chewing gum flew out of the keyhole and went down Peeves nostril. He soon left the class to get on with what they were doing.
"That was great!" Cassie said while laughing. Most of the people turned to look at her and Hermione and her locked eyes. They both quickly looked away when they both could feel their cheeks begin to heat up. They both didn't know why that happened but tried not to think about it.
"Thank you. Now, shall we proceed?" Professor Lupin said, leading the class right outside the staffroom door. He opened the door and it was full with old chairs. In one chair, Professor Snape was sat and looked around at the class as they came in the room.
