𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 - crookshanks and big black dogs

Over the next few weeks, not much had happened at Hogwarts. Defence Against the Dark Arts quickly became everyone's favourite lesson as Professor Lupin was the best teacher they have had. They studied many different creatures and the class loved it. Only Draco and his little gang of friends didn't really like the Professor. He made small comments about Professor Lupin's frayed robes.

The other lessons weren't as fun however. In potions, Snape was still a foul git. The news of Neville's Boggart travelled around the school quite quick and Professor Snape didn't find it funny at all. Everyone else did though. Professor Snape glared at anyone he heard mention Professor Lupin and he was bullying Neville even more now. Cassie had enough of this so she threw her potions book at the Professor which only just missed his head. She shouted at him as well, but as she was a Slytherin she only got detention for a week. The Gryffindors started to actually smile at her when they saw her.

Hermione and Cassiopeia became closer friends as the weeks went by. They were normally found sat in the library together studying or doing homework. Most of the time the two girls weren't doing work as they would both try to sneak looks at one another. When they were sat at the Great Hall Cassie would constantly find herself looking towards the Gryffindor table where Hermione was sat. However when Cassie would look at Hermione, she would find the bushy haired brunette was already looking at her. They would smile at eachother and both look away trying to hide the blush that was creeping up their cheeks.

It was harder for Saffron, Cassie and Theo to hang out as much together. Saffron had made new friends with the girls in her dorm. She would now preferer to be with them instead of Cassie and Theo. They didn't have much time to spend together as they were in different houses and they didn't share many lessons together.

Her aunt had been sending her letters every week to make sure she was staying safe and out of trouble. In every letter she sent back to her aunt, Cassie always tried to convince her to sign her Hogsmeade permission slip. But in every reply back, her aunt would just reply saying no and that it was safer to stay inside the castle.

Cassie was very excited as the Quidditch matches were starting soon. The Slytherin team had been practising non stop as they were determined to win this year. However when Flint told them at the end of this weeks practise that they weren't going to be playing at the first match, instead Hufflepuff would be taking their place. Cassie was furious about it so she made sure to whack Draco over the head because it was his fault they couldn't play. Apparently his arm hurt too much, when his arm was perfectly healed.

She was walking back to the common room after hearing the awful news about the match. When she walked in there was a group of people surrounding a corner in the room. Theo was standing there so she asked him what's wrong.
