i sat my tray of food down on the table, moving over by Chloe seating beside her.
"well everyone in Science hates me because i reminded Mrs. Kelly about our homework. i worked really hard not to give it to her." i said opening the milk.
"you know who didn't hate it was Corbyn." Leilani said wiggling her eyebrows.
"really?"
"you're such a teacher pet, but hey, Corbyn likes it. that's what Jonah said, i'm only his girlfriend." Elizabeth said smiling placing her tray down.
"we get it." Chloe groaned moving her food around her tray.
"no way in hell Corbyn likes me." i mumbled to myself.
"oh stop it girl. do you see the way he looks at you? i mean look at the boy right now." Melanie said pointing to him.
i looked over blushing, Corbyn looked away and back at Daniel nodding.
"so...."
"new couple." Elizabeth says smiling.
"wait what about me and Daniel?" Leilani responded.
"if he had the balls to say it." Chloe said apologizing after what she just said to Leilani.
"what's up with you?" i asked switching bags of chips with Melanie.
"Zach pulled a prank on me today and i hit him-" Chloe says.
"my love!" Melanie said.
i covered her mouth. "what kind of prank?"
Melanie licked my hand, making me move it wiping it on her shoulder.
"he did his dumb jump scare and i punched him in the face. why do you think he had to go to the nurse this morning?" Chloe replied.
"we should have a girl night. we can have a sleepover at my place." Lyric said.
"but it's a school night-" i started to say when Elizabeth cut me off.
"teacher pet, calm down, let's do it." she said.
"but it's a-"
"school night. we know." my friends said, the bell rang.
i picked up my tray, Corbyn ran over taking it from me walking beside me.
"hey-"
"hi. thanks for reminding Mrs. Kelly on our homework. people here don't get i worked really hard on it." Corbyn said placing the tray where it goes.
"thank you! everyone else bitched at me for it- oh my, i cussed. i'm so sorry Corbyn."
he laugh holding his bookbag on one shoulder. "it's okay. i cuss to, sometimes."
i smile, holding my backpack straps.
"let me get that. we have chemistry... class - chemistry class together. so." Corbyn blush.
i handed him my bag, a small grin came to my face walking side by side to class.
