I woke up in a cold sweat, with beads of sweat running down my face, it must be morning as birds chirping loudly outside could be heard. I felt so terrible, it felt like someone had hit me with a hammer, I felt sore all over, I remembered the horrifying dream I had it was simply awful, I suddenly felt dizzy at the thought of it occurring in real life. Cringing, I buried it deep in the back of my mind and vowed to never even think of it.
For the first time i noticed my surrounding, I looked around the room, I was in a medium sized bedroom with a balcony the was bolted tight judging from last night 'dream'. The walls were a gorgeous turquoise colour and the bed was a canopy bed with the canopy sheets a light blue colour. I could have sat there admiring the room all day but my first priority was to know where the heck I was.
The bedroom also had a ensuite which, I washed my face in and retied my hair into a messy ponytail. While doing so I examined my self in the mirror, I looked half dead again. There were dark circles under my eyes and my skin was pale, my usual dark brown eyes looked pitch black, this time I didn't find it amusing but was rather disgusted at looking similar those heartless creatures. I had grown to distaste them a great deal.
I opened the door leading back into the turquoise room and to my astonishment sitting their on the bed was, Seth. I gleefully ran and hugged him very tightly, glad to see someone i knew, but my happiness was short lived as confusion swept over me, I had just taken notice of his appearance and something was very off. I gasped and my backed away till my back hit the wall as I realised he wasn't human anymore but a ,vampire. He looked almost like a different person, with his features exhilarated, though I couldn't help noticing he looked extravagantly handsome in a vampiric way.
His once tanned Greek god golden skin was snow pale. His once honey brown eyes where now pit less black and his once dark brown hair had emphasized golden caramels highlights in them.
All I could do was gap at him, he must have realized I was confused for he answered my unasked question. "They turned me into a vampire, I'm one of Adrian's guards". He must have realized I had no idea who the heck this Adrian person was, so he proceeded to tell me he was the leader of the vamps who overtook the country. Anger boiled in me as i realized not only did they overtake the country but also my parents... Pulling myself together I demanded " why in the world did you kidnap me and where on earth is Heather?". He said he knew my parents probably hid me and my sister, so he asked Adrian if he could bring here, using an cover story that we were his sisters. Though secretly he just wanted to protect us and spare as from dying as Adrian was killing all humans or turning them into vampires, just like what the hot vamp on TV promised.I just nodded numbly not really sure how to react to all this astonishing information. All I processed was my life had taken a drastic turn of events downhill, from uninteresting to so interesting it was terrifying, almost too much to handle.
