Chapter 5: Surprise

JEN'S POV

Gustong gusto ko na umiyak sa harapan ng mga bruhilda kong kaibigan! Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako o hindi! Honestly, they always makes me happy not because of my condition but because they love me enough! Yung tipong down na ako may mga clown pa rin sa paligid ko! Yung idadaan lahat sa kain lahat ng stress HAHA! Thank God for having them!

"So gays, what is your plan sa internship?" Sabi ko ng walang kagana gana.

"MANILA!" Sabay pa nga sila at sumigaw pa ah yung totoo excited lang? "Ikaw te?" Sabay na naman nilang binanggit. Ano ito kambal lang?

"Ewan, baka mag stop muna ako di rin ako makapag intern" sabi ko ng walang kabuhay buhay 

"Awwwwww" sabay nilang sinabi yung totoo? Ano nakain ng dalawang ito? Paki explain pls!

GEL'S POV

okay here we go naiiyak ako sa magandang balitang sasabihin namin kay ate. HAHA  hastag DRAMA!

"Okay paano ko ba sisimulan, Lex?"

"Bahala ka sa buhay mo Gel, kaya mo na yan tutal ikaw pinaka malakas ang loob so ikaw na!" -Lex

Si ate di alam kung kanino makikinig sa amin ni Lex ang papakinggan. Well sige ako na!! Lagi naman ako e may choice ba bukod sa Lady's choice! Grrr!

"Kasi ganito yan ate, AYAW KO NG DRAMA dito ha! Pls lang! WALANG IIYAK OKAY??" sabi ko with feelings pa yan pak! At puro tango lang nakuha kong sagot hudyat na I should spill it NOW or NEVER haha.

"Di na kami tutuloy ni Lex sa manila for the intern huhu di ko alam pero mas pinili namin na dito na lang din mag intern since nag research naman kami tungkol sa broadcasting company na napili ni madam G for US, yes you heard it right te! US meaning TAYO, tayong TATLO! Kinausap namin yung manager ng company

* Flashback *

"Good afternoon were from Colu University may I speak to the manager of this company by the way my name is Gel we don't have any appointment with him/her."
Say me.. with accent that's so decent.

"Well as of this moment our manager is busy just come back tomorrow" -Secretary ata

"Well, I don't want too. Why?? did you asked your boss that there's pretty, sexy and intelligent students looking for your him/her? If NO will stay here" me again with my mataray accent.

"Fine!" sabay pindot sa phone at sinabi niya talaga literal ang sinabi ko from the pretty and intelligent thingy.. HAHA after 1 minute....

"Hey ladies, come and follow me" secretary with plastic smile in her face! Grrr.

Sinundan namin siya ni Lex at habang naglalakad nag salita na si Lex finally! Haha..

"Ehem ehem sound check.. eeemm Well as of this moment our manager is busy just come back tomorrow. LIAR! but Thanks miss whoever you are" -Lex with her maarte tone sabay flip hair haha love this Lex so much nahahawa sa unique attitude ko! Char!

Upon entering the room...

"Good afternoon Mr. Alonzo were from Colu University, we just want to give you some proposal." sabi ko haha.

Si Sir medyo shock! why kaya? Dahil sa ganda namin ni Lex? Haha..

"Okay what do you want? Straight to the point please I don't want to waste my precious time with monkey business. Get it?" WOOAHH. sabi ni Mr. Alonzo

"Well, we are MASSCOMM student we need to be your intern, but we are 3. Our friend needs our help and your help to pursue her dream. She is part of PWD (person with disability) a visually impaired one. Now can you help us to achieve our dream together in your company?"

"Then what would I get in return? You said a while ago you have proposal, hmm?"

"YES, actually we are hard working, beautiful and intelligent so what are you looking for to be part of your team? You need our help besides we will not be getting any salary from you. And.. SOMEDAY when we became a successful person in future. We promise to return any wish or help you need, who never know, right? " urrggghhh! hirap kailangan makumbinsi ko siya!

"Why you choose our company? There's a lot more company who can give you a favor?"

Hinawakan bigla ni Lex ang kamay ko which is sign to stop me from talking and her turn na. Finally.

"Lets make it simple, we have a friend and we consider her as a family, and you have a family for sure. You will do everything to make them happy. Correct?

We chose your company because its not yet famous as others, we can see the future success of this company with us. And we know you have that genuine heart inside of that terror face. We don't want to make this coversation any longer. So Mr Alonzo with all your respect is it a DEAL or NO DEAL?" Sabay wink ni Lex, haha so cute ni Lex first time mag pacute at mamrangka niyan! Clap clap!! Si Sir nag smirk at sabay tayo ohh No.. No.. No.. wag ka madisappoint sa amin mababait naman kami e kailangan ka lang namin makumbinsi jusmeyo plss SANA pumayag ka! Akin ng tinatawag lahat ng santo sa langit.

"Very impressive and very well said.. I think you're right. So DEAL! Congratulations! you are now part of our team and your beloved friend you can start by next week."

WAAHHHHHH... gawd thank you Lord and to all the saints!!! Nakipagshake hands pa siya at sabi niya tatawagan daw niya kami for the requirements na kailangan nila. Nag thank you at nagtatatalon kami ni Lex. Lalabas na kami ng door ng nagsalita si sir.

"Bye girls, by the way i like your fighting spirit that's why I hired you as a  intern. Good luck"

* END OF FLASHBAK *

In fairness after ko ikweto kay ate lagat hindi siya umiyak ..si Lex ang walang sawang umiiyak na pinagtataka ko naman!

"Hoy bruha! Bakit ka umiiyak?" Me.

"Hindi ko kasi lubos maisip na magagawa ko yun. Yung ganun..yung ganung attitude ko, tears of joy lang siguro" -Lex

"WOW Lex ah nahihibang ka na! Haha akala ko kung ano, ewan ko sayo!" Me

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Thank you mga bebe! Mahal na mahal ko kayo salamat sa lahat lahat. Lex wag ka na maguilty I know how much you love me ao badly kaya nagawa niyo yun. Thank you Lord for giving me these two best friends"

Okay nawindang ako sa tili ni ate medyo nasira eardrums ko. Haha at ayun nag group hug kami at pag tapos kumain inayos na namin mga kakailanganin kinausap na rin namin si Madam G.
