Chapter 34 *The Talk*

LATER THAT DAY

MIN CHAN’S POV

“Are you ready Min Chan?” D.O asked at me while I’m staring at a familiar light brown door. We’re right here at the front door of the hide-out and talked to Baek—I mean, him.

I just nodded at him and he opened the door. After he opened the door for me, I saw Sehun and Tao looked at us.

“Noona!!!” The both of them screamed and ran to me and hugged me.

“How are you guys?” I asked them.

“We’re totally fine. How are you noona?” Sehun said and I just smiled as a reply. Seemed like they already know the answer.

“Where’s Baekhyn?” I asked them.

“Hey guys, who is- - Oh, it’s just you.” I turned to the person who said that and that someone is Baekhyun. It hurts that he seems so cold to me now.

“I’m here to talk to you.” I said, trying to hold back my tears.

“We have nothing to talk about. Just leave.” He said. When he was about to leave, Chanyeol grabbed his arms.

“You, she’s here to clarify what’s all this up. At least listen to her for the last time!” He was angry. Baekhyun just rolled his eyes and signaled me that we should talk in a quiet place. I nodded and followed him. We reached the house’s balcony; it’s so peaceful until he spoke.

“What is it?” He asked.

“How could you!” I screamed. “I waited for 4 damn years. I waited 4 painful years and you gave me this? Why?” I screamed.

“I only did that because of my hyung’s bet. You’re my victim and it seems you didn’t know that you’ve been tricked.” He said.

“All those kisses, I love yous, hugs, worries. Was that all part of the bet. I knew that they were true. Please Baekhyun, stop lying. I beg you. I don’t know what I’ll do without you. Please Baekhyun, don’t leave me.” I said crying while pulling his collar.

“I only love Ri Seul. I won’t trick her. I will love her forever. She’s the one who I want to spend my life with. Not you!” Enough! I’ve been hurt too many times because of him. He proved that he loves Ri Seul than me. I regret that I had feelings for him before.

“I had enough. If that’s the way you want it then ok. Bye Baekhyun, I hope you’ll live happier. Please love Ri Seul like the love you gave to me before. I hope this would be our last meeting. Love your future wife and your future…..kids.” I said then walked out of the balcony while he’s there, standing, frozed?

“Hey Min Chan. Are you- -“I heard Hee Rin’s voice. I quickly looked for her and hugged her.

“We broke up. Should I be happy?” I said.

“It depends on you Min Chan. It depends on how you really love him.” She said then I saw Baekhyun walking to his room and shut the door loudly. What’s his problem? Isn’t he happy that we already broke up?

“I think you’re right. I need advices.” I said.

“He’s not worth crying for. There’s someone there who is sincere unlike him. It’s his lost not yours. Stop crying and do what you want to do.” She said.

“Thank you. I need to go home now. I’m tired.” I said.

“Ok, D.O please send Min Chan home.” I saw her smirked at him. Psh, I know what it is.

“Ok, Min Chan, let’s go. It’s already late.” He said then I stood up and clung to his arm again and waved them goodbye. While we’re on the ride, I felt my eyes heavy then I already drifted to sleep.

D.O’S POV

I felt sorry for her. She’s been hurt too many times and I felt bad about letting her go and gave her to Baekhyn. I shouldn’t have trusted him. I warned you before Baekhyun, I swear, I’ll kill you. I heard Min Chan still sobbing while sleeping. Gosh, I think she’s having a nightmare. I promise Min Chan, I would never ever hurt you like Baekhyun did. I kissed her hand then focused on my driving.

MIN CHAN’S POV

I woke up by the stop of the car that its already parked in front of my house. I smiled at him.

“Thank you D.O for being there for me.” I said.

“Are you leaving? Please don’t leave.” He said. What is he saying?

“What? No, I’m not leaving. I mean thank you that you never left my side.” I said.

“Ahh, ok. Like I said Min Chan, I will never ever leave you. You’re precious to me that I can’t keep my eyes from looking at you. You’re important to me.” His word made me blush again.

“Thank you. I must go now; I need to have some sleep. Good night D.O oppa.” I said then I kissed his cheeks. Then I saw him blushed too. I quickly went out of the car and waved him goodbye then I went inside my house. I rushed to my room, did my night routine and finally went back to sleep. I’ll forget you Byun Baekhyun, with D.O beside me. He will love me like you did. I HATE YOU BYUN BAEKHYUN!!
