"I had a dream about a burning house," I rub my forehead.

The red head moves to sit up beside me, his bare chest glowing. Moonlight pours in through the cracked blinds and covers us both.

"That explains those sounds," he laughs slightly before letting his head fall against the wall. "You've been sleepwalking," Hisoka continues, "you aware?"

A sense of fear runs through me, "No." I swallow harshly and look to my lap, "If they find me doing it, they'll beat me again."

"They won't."

"What the hell, Soka," I furrow my brows and tilt my head towards him, "you know how they are, they would."

"I follow you," he sighs, "they'd think we're just roaming around or something."

"You follow me," I ask, "how did I not notice?"

Hisoka stretches his neck, "Well, guess you don't remember that either then."

"What?" I turn and take hold of my boyfriend's shoulders, just wanting an answer.

"You always go to the fireplace, but I guess that makes sense now," the red head continues, "I just, I always hold you till I'm able to carry you back to bed."

My cheeks flame and I return to my previous position, "Oh, it's appreciated."

My mind flashes back to all the times I would get caught sleepwalking as a child and then beaten senseless for endangering myself. Unintentionally my thoughts make my body jerk.

"Woah," Hisoka sits up further and grabs my shoulders, "hey, baby, what's wrong."

My entire body starts shaking, just like it would on those nights. The pain would pulse throughout my body when I attempted to go back to sleep,"I just want to take what's lost and broken and make it right." Once realization kicks in I try to take back my statement.

Hisoka immeditaely wraps me in his strong arms.

"Can we go?" I ask quietly.

He drags his nails gently through my hair, "Where, baby?"

"The fireplace."

"Here let's go," Hisoka caresses my cheek.

After we'd both sat down in front of the fireplace Hisoka speaks to me. "There's no good reason for coming out here."

"But it's the only place you'll hold me tight," my glassy eyes finally break and tears flow down my cheeks.

Silence settles between us for a moment. Hisoka speaks gently, "So you weren't sleepwalking?"

A quiet sob escapes me, "No."

He holds me tightly close to his chest, "I'll try to take what's lost and broke and make it right."

"In this burning house?" I ask.

"I can hold onto you somehow."

"I don't want to wake up..," I sigh, "in this burning house."
