Moms car is in the driveway.
I opened the door and set my bag down. I kicked off my shoes and hear my Mom and Rosie talking in the kitchen.
"Mom!" I yelled running towards her. She stood up and opened her arms. I haven't seen her a couple months.
"Victoria! How are you?" She asked.
"Great!" I smiled.
"Let's chat. Over some tea please?" Mom looked at Rosie and she went to get the kettle. My mom likes to act elegant. It makes me think if she was a queen in her past life. Ha ha. We say down on the stools pushed against the kitchen island.

After Rosie got the tea ready we all got into a big conversation about where my mom went. She says she went to America. You see she always goes somewhere in business. I'm not sure what she does but she talks in front of big groups of people.
"Enough about that trip, what's new Tori?" Mom said.
"Oh you know, there was a bunch of exams in school, I thinking about dying my hair blonde, I had a hot date, and I got the iPhone 5." I said.
"A date? What's his name!"
"Well his name is Zayn." I said.
She hugged me. "Hunny that's wonderful! I'm gonna have to meet him before I leave. Again."
"When is that?" I asked with my smile disappearing.
"2 weeks?" She said.
"Oh. Well I'm happy to have you back," I said with a semi fake smile knowing she's just gonna leave sooner or later. "I'm gonna go to bed. School in the morning." I walked up the stairs to my room and fell to my bed. Difficulties of being a teen.
