It's crazy to say that I have attended Beauxbatons for 3 years. Thinking back, I can't believe I coped with it all. I remember how once everyone hit puberty, the boys desired nothing but to have sex. They were all becoming unemotional little idiots. Unfortunately, they have not matured at all.
See, Beauxbatons is like hell to me. No one bothers to talk to you if you aren't in their little cliques. And if they do, they would probably go talk behind your back a few minutes later. Gossip spreads like wildfire. Most of them about the dumbest things.
The boys judge the girls by how big their asses are. The girls judge the boys by how hard their dicks are. Honestly, it sounds so stupid, but yes that's the school I've gone to for the past 3 years. And it's not ending anytime soon.
I sighed as I folded the last of my clothes into my trunk. Here I am, getting ready for another distressing year at Beauxbatons. Although I was quite excited to see my best friend Chaisee again. She's the only other English girl that's in my year. Also the only kind, and caring girl in my year. I've always been so grateful for her. If she didn't exist, I'd probably expel myself out of the school.
We had owled each other a couple of times this summer. She told me all about her visits to the most exotic-sounding places. Chaisee's family was a very rich one. Probably the most dominant pureblood family in all of Europe.
I too was a pureblood. But my family wasn't the most appreciated one. None of my ancestors did anything revolutionary. They just fucked and birthed as many children as they could.
I dragged my heavy trunk down the long set of stairs. To my surprise, my brother Malcolm had already been sitting on the couch, with his trunk right next to him. He was reading some sort of book, which was another surprise to me.
"Learning how to read?" I teased as I reached the bottom of the stairs. He rolled his eyes and continued to read his book. I didn't bother him more, as he needed the extra reading. I don't think I've seen him with a book my whole life.
Malcolm was 17, starting his last year at Beauxbatons. I still don't know how I feel about that. I'm definitely going to miss him going to school with me, but he is fucking annoying. Last year I would spot him snogging a different girl every week. He even gets drunk, knowing damn well our parents would kill him if they knew. But honestly, it's not like I've never gotten drunk.
I rolled my trunk over to the huge fireplace in the kitchen. To get to Beauxbatons, you have to use the Floo network. I've gotten used to it with the number of times I've used it before. Without waiting for my brother, I grabbed a handful of the Floo powder and stood inside the fireplace. I closed my eyes and yelled "Beauxbatons Academy of Magic!" as loud as I could.
Clenching my trunks handle, I opened my eyes to the overly bright Floo room. A saddening feeling overflowed my body as I looked around the room. I'm back at Beauxbatons again, the stupid school that makes my life so much worse.
I looked around the room, trying to spot Chaisee when I felt someone behind me shove my back. Turning around aggressively, I rolled my eyes when I saw Malcolm pushing everyone out of his way. Probably trying to find his little "girlfriend" Fleur Delacour. Delacour is the epitome of a Beauxbatons girl. Going around thinking everyone loves her.
I finally spotted Chaisee, who was looking like a beautiful goddess, wearing an expensive-looking dress. I ran over and gave her a tight hug.
"I missed you so much, how are you?" I smiled.
"I'm doing good, um can we talk outside?" Chaisee told me, with her smile slowly fading. I nodded, and she pulled me out of the Floo room into the hall.
"You know what the Triwizard Tournament is right?" she asked me. I shook my head, feeling really confused. Chaisee sighed and kept going. "It's this tournament thing, between Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons. Hogwarts is hosting it this year! We're going to Hogwarts!" she exclaimed. I narrowed my eyes and looked at her as if she was crazy.
"And how do you know all this?" I asked.
"Did you forget my dad works at the Ministry? C'mon, we have to go back inside the room," she said while tilting her head towards the door. I followed her into the Floo room, still taken back from what she told me.
After a while of waiting for Madame Maxime to enter, I finally saw a very tall woman walk into the Floo room. The smell of expensive cologne filled up the room, making me cough uncontrollably. She said some things in French that I didn't quite understand, and lead us out of the Floo room. It's terrible that I don't know much French, even though I've gone to a French school for the past 3 years. I just don't have the time to learn it, especially with the unnecessary amount of homework the teachers give us.
We all followed Madame Maxime into the Dining Chamber, where she swished her wand at us, resulting in all of our clothes changing into the uniforms. I personally find the uniforms as the most hideous thing anyone could come up with. But even after talking to Madame Maxime about them, they're not changing any time soon.
I sat down on one of the large circle tables, next to Chaisee, who was already devouring her food.
"You were kidding, right? About that Triwizard thing?" I said as I was cutting up my chicken. Chaisee swallowed and crossed her arms.
"Why would I be kidding about something like that? You know people die in those tournaments," she stated while giving me a serious look. I slowly put down my fork and knife.
"We're actually going to Hogwarts? For the rest of the year?" I asked, feeling myself start to smile. Chaisee nodded and stuffed her mouth with some salad.
I zoned out the whole of the Feast. Thoughts were flooded in my mind, ideas as to what the year would look like. I was going to visit the school I was supposed to attend from the beginning. Hogwarts; it sounds like heaven to me.
