Months went by and Diana and Peter began to enjoy their lives as parents more, watching Olive and Elsie play along with Alexi Markuu Jr. and Lily-Rose.
Diana had retired and left the brothel to June, she wanted to spend time with her children, and she was able to earn money as an accountant for the expenses of Peter's company.
She had always been good at budgeting. as Ville and an educated Maria began to work as partners and restore their wealth. She was so happy for him, but the news she had for him was far more important.
She had been late on her menstruations for some time now, and her appetite was voracious. She knew what it meant, just not how to tell him. So when they were cuddling in bed, she looked up at him and tilted his head towards her.
In the beginning, he froze when she told him that their love was bearing fruit inside her. He did not know what to say, they were doing well financially, but this was so sudden. He had not expected her to be carrying his child. Still, he couldn't hide his smile, or tears for he had regained what he had lost so long ago.
He asked her if they could visit his ex-wife's grave, and she nodded understanding. It was an ode to solitude, for now, he was with her, and he no longer felt alone, and he knew that from heaven his wife and child could not rest in peace.
"We have two angel's watching over us," Maria said as he rubbed her belly and kissed her, "And I will also watch over you always," he said smiling as he picked her up, to him her health would take all priority now.
However, she was also terrified of how his parents were going to react, not that he cared how they did. He had lived with so much pain and guilt all his life, due to them and he was not going to fall for it again.
He had enough of his parents' attitude toward her. Maria knew that this whole process was important for him, no wonder he was so fiercely overprotective after that, not even letting Maria work, afraid she was not getting enough sleep.
She wanted to argue, but for him, this was all part of a trauma, and she knew that he was afraid to lose her and his child again, as he had lost them so long ago.
Not to mention she was so big for her size that it was hard to breathe or walk and the contractions were a nightmare.
"I think there is more than one baby, there love," he said, feeling her tummy. That simple act of intimacy was enough to calm the stress she was undergoing.
Yet it really hurt her to see him like this. She hoped that with time he could completely let go of that past that hurt him. Of course, she knew that this was a form of grieving he needed to process to fully embrace being a father again.
So that he would be able to talk about all those things that haunted him at night. It helped him deeply to know that soon the woman he had fallen in love with would bear fruit to a child or the children that he would finally be able to hold in his hands.
Still, his paranoia at things going wrong sometimes caused arguments and tension, he was afraid of her going through labor, of her weight, and her sleeping pattern. Diana herself had to talk to him to make him calm down, he was smothering Maria.

William was elated for his master but agreed that he was acting overly paranoid and it was not good for his health. He smoked more pipes and would run to Maria at the first sight of pain, the night that her water broke he almost had a stroke, as he was not home.
He was off on a business meeting, and he had suffered terribly as he canceled it and took off. The road was eternal and long and when he burst through the doors, he didn't even bother to close them, as he ran to her side,.
"Congratulations sir you have triplets, two boys and a girl, it was the hardest delivery I had all night," the doctor said.
Ville was even more worried, this was Maria's first labor, and she was weak, and looked pale, yet the doctor said that with enough rest and food she would recover.
"My love are you ok," Ville said as she held her babies, "I am, please don't worry," she said. "I can't help it," he said as he looked at his children, they were perfect in his eyes, and he cried openly as he held them one by one.
"What are we to call them?" Maria said, he looked even more stunning as a father. "I was thinking of Armand, Sebastian, and Claire," he said. Maria smiled they had discussed names, as Maria's belly had been so big he had foreseen this.
Diana and Peter, Angel, and Alexi went over as soon as they could to meet the babies, and reassure Ville that they were going to have so many people loving them, that they would have no time to be sick.
Diana asked them to take precautions as this was her first heavy pregnancy for Maria and she needed to rest before attempting more if that was their plan.
