"oh my god bella, stop!" i yell, swatting her hand away from from my face.
"aw, what? i just wanted to fix your hair."
"oh fine then." i say letting a smile grow on my face, she pulls my hair behind my shoulders and smoothes it out.
"and what is this for, i happen to think my hair looks perfectly fine."
"oh you know how oliver looks at you." bella says leaning back in her chair.
"please bells, we are just friends."
and that we were.
just friends.
bella, oliver, and delaney. we were all really good friends. oh, well and draco. he was more of their friend then mine.
see im a hufflepuff, and a muggle born. so i guess he doesn't really take that stuff very well. but the rest do. they really don't mind, which i guess is surprising for most people because of the stereotypes, but really they couldn't care less. except for draco that is.
the budding friendship all started when i was three. my mother and bella's mother were very good friends. so from that it led bella and i to be- very good friends. we were friends all through the early stages of life, when we got sorted into different houses it didn't change much. she is a slytherin and i am a proud hufflepuff.
when she first got sorted she instantly introduced me to her new friends, the whole group. oliver, delaney, and draco. we all hit it off really well- except for draco. he never really paid much attention to me in the early years of hogwarts.
over time he has gotten used to me being there but still would never choose to sit next to me or to even talk to me.
"finally you guys decided to make an appearance." bella mutters as oliver and draco takes seats across from us in on the train.
we are on the famous train heading to our sixth year at hogwarts. the same compartment as all the years before, the same seats, the same people.
it never gets old.
"oh shut it bella we were like what, 5 minutes late." draco snaps taking a seat beside oliver.
"5 minutes is too many minutes draco."
he rolls his eyes, leaning into his chair and crossing his arms.
"what's got you in a sour mood draco?" i ask not being sarcastic.
his eyes dart to me and he looks me up and down, "what made you think you could talk to me."
"oh bloody hell, not this again." oliver whines, placing his head and his hands.
"right? like just kiss already." bella states jokingly.
"as if i would ever touch the lips of a mudblood." he barks looking at bella like she's crazy.
"oh my god, can we just have a nice and peaceful ride for once." i say running a hand through my hair.
his eyes flicker towards me and he stares at me for a second before looking away.
"oh there delaney is, aren't you going to yell at her too for being late?" he asks as she walks up beside our table.
"no as a matter of fact we aren't, come sit beside me laney." i say patting a spot next to me, on the bench.
she smiles and gives draco a glare before sitting down. squeezing in beside me and bella.
"so how was everyones summer?" oliver asks setting his elbows down on the table.
