It was warm and comforting; I remembered the golden hair of a girl, a girl I knew well. Her hair was long and beautiful, yet I had never told her how I felt...

Priscilla...

I awoke in the dusty warehouse, sitting up as my vision started coming back to me and I found an unfamiliar name in my head, who's Priscilla? I wondered before feeling the entirety of my weary body. Then the memories from that terrible nightmare returned to me, it wasn't real, it wasn't real! I shouted in my head before looking over to my sister, Elizabeth. It was real. The bandages around her head and the fact they weren't in their home proved it, as painful as it might be, I had to accept it, it was a must.

We were now within Wall Rose, the wall within Wall Maria. In the city of Trost, we were put in a warehouse with the rest of the refugees where they used to keep dried goods. I didn't remember arriving here, so I guessed I fell asleep on the boat, regardless of how we got here, I was relieved to see Elizabeth bandaged up and alright. We were alone in the empty warehouse, the only others a young boy and girl, I recognized them as the two I kept seeing in Shiganshina, the boy with a short temper and his stoic friend, were they siblings? I couldn't tell without asking, but not now, I was too tired to socialize, to speak unnecessary words. The pain must've been because I overexerted myself to stay alive and to keep my sister the same.

The other refugees must be outside receiving food from the government...this thought made me realize my stomach's plead for nourishment. I looked down once more at my sister, she was still asleep and would need all the rest she can get, so I decided to go out and get food for the both of us. Hopefully being able to obtain it without any trouble due to the recent famine that was only worsened by our arrival.

I slowly walked towards the exit as the two kids exited ahead of me. Once I got outside, the sunlight blinded me for a second before my eyes adjusted to the grim scene before me. The square before me was filled with despaired refugees from Wall Maria, most in lines before stations that were handing out bread.

Just as I stepped outside the warehouse, a fight broke out, two grown men struggling over the possession of a small loaf of bread. "I don't think so, 'friend'." The original owner of the bread said as the other started to grab it.

"Give me a break! All I've had for two days is a moldy bit of crust!" He shouted and they struggled, spinning as they grabbed each other's shirt. It made me realize how desperate the situation was, the refugees were getting violent and desperate as food wasn't in abundance.

A young little blond boy then called out to the two children and appeared to have an armful of three small loaves of bread; he must've been a thoughtful friend of theirs. A nearby soldier then grunted upon the sight of this and sulked away to his fellow soldiers "What's his deal?" The burnett boy asked with irritation, I was thinking the same thing at that moment. I continued on to a line, I had to get back to Elizabeth before she awoke, if she would awake. I pushed the thought out of my head, she was going to awake, she had to.

I watched another fight break out while I waited, this time it was four men fighting over a single loaf. "Nothing more gratifying than seeing your Rations go to animals." The soldier from before said sarcastically with a smirk. "Guess we have to beef up the heard though. Eat up, the titans like a little meat on their bones!" He continued. What the hell did he just say?! That's a piece of shit right there.

"Otta keep you in cages, ship you off to the front lines as a buffer." he carelessly said, I was getting annoyed when suddenly, I see the boy with the short temper walk up to him and kick him straight in the shin. He must've been enraged by the soldier's rants as well, but the boy's actions were met by the soldier's immediate rage "Ah! Damn it! Ugh! You picked the wrong man asshole!" He shouted before punching the child in the face, the second soldier kicking him to the ground in support of his ally.
