Mary's Pov

Oh its that jerk Kaelean's birthday today.I'm sure today he will look gorgeous as usual(not a surprise).But that dosen't matter cause he is still the reason why Mary, the character i reincarnated into, died in the original plot of the novel so it was smart of me to write and send the letter of divorce to him.I mean in the original novel " Suzanne" ,Kaelean falls in love with that green haired "double faced " woman who pretends to be innocent.But since kaelean was engaged to Mary he was not able to marry Suzanne aka suzy, this made him dislike mary while on the other hand Mary liked kaelean since they were kids and that made her bully the herione Suzy who had managed to capture kaelean's interest.She didn't know that Suzy was a scheming rat and then one day after kaelean became emperor he banished her from the empire cause she was accused of trying to poison Suzy who at that time was pregnant with Kaelean's son.Later it was revealed that mary had died of some disease but in reality Suzy had sent some of her men to kill Mary.I, hina suri had been reincarnated in Mary's body last month and i have decided to divorce Kaelean so that i can avoid this tragic path but why is Kaelean not sending that acceptance letter .Didn't he not like mary in the original plot cause he had always tried to annul his engagement with her but she had always managed to stick to him which made him hate her more.lets just ignore Kaelean because nothing good will come out of being near him.

Lets look around isn't that lady Camilia , she is really pretty but its sad to know that she is also just a minor villainess who hated Suzy.It is rumored that lady camilia is the prettiest woman in the empire.Some say her beauty rivals the crown prince Kaelean's sister ,Odette Xanchior but i have never seen her cause i've heard she is a pretty sickly kid even though she is around the same age as me.That poor girl falls in love with Eugene Callista the famous archduke's son but he also falls in love with Suzy so poor Odette never receives his love.Suzy from the story is said to have green hair and greenish-blue eyes and she looks like a small doll who can break at any time while on the inside she is as cunning as a fox.Although the plot is the same i have never heard of this girl named Khione  but in all the tea parties i have gone to i have always heard other ladies talk about her. They said nobody except her family and the ones who work at the Rensteil manor have seen her.There were rumors that lady Khione would attend Kaelean's debutante and lots of people are very excited to see her.I really don't remember anyone named khione from the novel.Thats when i heard the usher announce,

"Lady Khione of House Renstiel"

She entered in a dazzling dazzling baby blue dress with yellow lacings. She had earl grey almost black hair and silver eyes which reflected the lights in the room and the most shocking thing was her hair which was shoulder length.I could feel that everyone was looking at her and was secretly jealous of her.Even i felt a pang of jealousy when i saw her i mean isn't it criminal to be this pretty.I saw Khione walk to a corner where she sat down alone and it looked like she was thinking about something.I'm still surprised someone as pretty her was not mentioned even once in the book.I looked at Camilia and saw that she was looking at Khione and her eyes were full of jealousy .Not a surprise Camilia loved being at the center of attention and she was frustrated cause all the noble ladies were always curious about The Mystery Lady of House Rensteil and talked about khione alot.It was pretty obvious that this made Camilia jealous of her.Then suddenly everyone got up and all the girls started looking at each other excitingly .I was surprised to see that even lady khione also got up and was smiling and laughing like a teenager who was looking for her favorite idol.

Thats when i knew that jerk had come. Kalean Xanchior walked inside the room in his white and red blazer.He then said his speech.As soon as he finished it his red eyes scanned the room looking for somebody thats when he stared at me.Although i felt something warm in my chest i quickly changed my expression into a poker face. Every now and then i could make out from the corner of my eyes that he looking at me .Wait this isn't right Kaelean never glanced at Mary and he always gave her a cold shoulder .When i looked at him again from the corner of my eyes i saw him looking at someone else.I felt as if someone had just snatched my favorite pen from me.he was looking at Lady Khione .I saw that lady khione quickly looked away when he looked at her.What is happening? Wasn't the crown prince only interested in Suzy and why am i feeling angry?

Kaelean's pov

He was bored again i mean whats so special about a birthday party .You just have to meet a bunch of power hungry nobles and crazy women.But this time he couldn't help but be a bit excited.His annoying fiance Mary had sent a letter to him yesterday asking him to annul their engagement. He was going to send her his agreement letter when he suddenly didn't want to.He wanted to see mary and ask her the reason why she wanted to annul their engagement even though he was gonna divorce her in the end no matter what answer she gave.Another reason why he was excited was because he had heard his knights and his maids talking about how that Rensteil lady was going to attend my party and was finally gonna show her face to the public .What really interested me was the fact that my friend the all time angry guy Eugene had said to me that in this whole empire the only person who can beat him in academics is the young lady Khione of House Rensteil.I was so shocked when i heard that cause i have never heard that salty guy praise anyone.I have a feeling its gonna be an exciting party .After i said my speech i looked for Mary, she was sitting in a corner looking bored.I was looking at her when i realized that although many eyes were on me i felt that some people were looking at the right corner . I turned to see what it was when i saw a pair of bright silver eyes looking in my direction.When i looked at her she quickly looked away.I have never seen this lady anywhere.She has shoulder length hair and i must admit she looks really pretty.Who is she? Nevermind 

I looked away and went to talk to some of my friends.
