When I was about nine, I got an ad for a mobile game for IOS devices.

Blocksworld - Free

That's what the banner on the top probably looked like.

I remember the ad itself though, it was showcasing the 'builds' of the community, as well as some of their licensed content. Transformers, GI-Joe, My Little Pony, and The Wizard of Oz.

They came in the form of 'sets'. Like Lego blocks. The game itself was styled like a digital sand/toybox where "imagination comes to life", so it made sense.

Anyways, I skipped the ad.

Well, the first time.
The second time it appeared, I caved in and downloaded the game onto my iPad 2, no, not iPad Air 2, the second version of the original iPad.
It was old even for the time.

The game was basically if you took Scratch and Lego together, or Minecraft.

You had a 'code' section for each block, to make them do things.
Blocks, items, accessories, and Blocksters were dragged out from different sections of a side bar.

The 'sets' mentioned earlier were how you gained those items, including licensed characters and pieces. They were purchased with coins.

I'm pretty sure at the time I joined the app, the only way to gain coins was to get achievements on your worlds.

"What were those achievements?" You may be asking.

Basically you got them from reaching certain thresholds of likes.

Oh, wow... Well I can't say I wasn't expecting to start something I'd never finish.

That's what I did on Blocksworld too.

I'd try to create a game, or even a 'series' and after getting only 3 plays on the trailer I'd cancel it.

And the one time a larger creater 'U R U T O', a name I can still remember despite it just being a kids game on an old iPad, liked a world I had posted I freaked out and got really excited.

I miss Blocksworld.

I intended on explaining exactly what it was, but that would be better for a video or something.
