((I haven't given up on this! Big step for me.))

I got up and got ready for school. Nothing really exciting but then I saw a little box on my bed. "Tamaki!" I yelled and he came rushing in. "Are they back?!" He yelled, "what? No. I wouldn't have called if if they did? Who left this box here?" I asked and he looked over to the wrapped box. "I did. It says so on the card." He said and picked up the homemade card with my name and his with the title 'Happy birthday.' I watched him, "how did you-?" He smiled, "go on, open it!" He said excitedly. I could feel the tears welling up inside, I haven't had a proper birthday present in years. I unfolded the wrapping paper and saw a photo of all of the club members in the club room. I saw Tamaki sitting on the yellow couch, Kyoya behind him, the twins on both sides doing the peace sign, Mori, Honey, and Haruhi were sitting on the floor. I was standing behind Mori and smiling. Tears fell to the glass of the frame. "Thank you." I said and pulled him into a hug, he chuckled and hugged me back.

We got to school and walked into the club room where there was a banner that said 'Happy birthday Hana' written in gold letters. Everyone was smiling and I saw gifts on a table beside a cake. "You guys." I said and hugged all of them. Kyoya went ridged and nearly dropped his clipboard but hugged me back. I hugged Mori and he had no hesitation to hug me back. The tears kept welling in my eyes and Hikaru ruffled my hair and Kaoru kissed my cheek. It didn't really matter what they got me, they were all that I truly needed. Kyoya gave me a leather bound book with a heart shape locket that if you open it the necklace will unlock the book. Hikaru and Kaoru gave me a dress that they made themselves, it was a beautiful yellow dress with a white shash and a white swirl pattern an inch at the hem. "I hope you like what I made you!" Honey said and held out an Usa-Chan charm. "In case you do ever have to leave, when you look at this I hope you'll always think of me and Usa-Chan." He said and I hugged him. "I'd never forget you." I said and I felt him crying into my neck.

Mori handed me a small white box. I opened it and saw a dark blue gem set in silver. He took it and slipped it on my ring finger. "Happy birthday." He said and kissed my cheeks. I hugged him again. "Thank you Mori." I said and I thought I heard him chuckle. I let go and Haruhi took my hand and put on a friendship bracket. It seemed that everyone had one. I smiled as the tears ran down my face and fell to the ground. I have cried the most on this day and this day alone.

Everyone congratulated me on turning a year older and for me I really did like being a year older, it just means that I have survived 17 years. I don't plan on breaking my record. After school I went to the Host Club and they gave me a police woman's outfit. We all got into positions as we heard the door open. But it was a little girl! "You are so cute!" I said and she shouted out "reverse harem!" She said and I looked at her. "What's that?" I asked a bit shaken up. "It's where a group of guys go after the same girl." Kyoya informed me. I stepped a bit away from the boys. "Debauchery! Yaah!" She said and I plugged my ears. "I am NOT hearing this!!" I yelled and jumped up and down. ((Debauchery: excessive indulgence in sensual pleasures. For those of you who didn't already know.)) "This kid shouldn't know this!" I said as Tamaki and the girl spun around. "If it were legal I'd sue for mind molestation!" I muttered and she looked at me. I froze when she hugged me. "Aunty!" She yelled and I nearly lost my balance. I picked her up and hugged her to my hip. "Kirimi, I don't think I'm your brother." Tamaki said and she began to cry. I bounced her up and down and she soon stopped. "Don't cry, you look cuter if you were to smile." I said and I heard a creepy voice. "Ki-Ri-Mi." I looked over and saw Nekozawa but he was blonde, I was one of the rare people to see him without the wig and cape before. He tripped over me and it just fell off. I had to then take him to the infirmary.

A maid and a butler came out and dressed him at light speed. Kirimi began to freak out and fused Tamaki and us together. "Hey, don't worry. He won't hurt you." I said and pulled her into my arms and began to rock her back and forth. They told us the tragic story about how Kirimi hates the dark and Nekozowa hates the light. "Nekozowa, your condition is total mental." I said and everyone looked at me. "What I mean is, sure people can have a type of skin condition where they have to wear sunscreen twenty-four seven but take this room, it's all in your head and the sooner you come to realize that you may adapt, not worshipping a cat deity and hoping that Kirimi-Chan will come to terms with her fear of the dark." I said and kept rocking her back and forth till she grew sleepy. He said that we were better for her and he ran away. I sighed and she took a small nap. Renge came out with her powerful motor and woke up Kirimi who began to cry. I hugged her and rocked her back and forth again. "We need to reform Nekozowa's fear of light!" Renge said and they all went to collect him and they went down to the science room. Kirimi refused to go back to sleep and she asked Haruhi to read to her. About twenty or so Shojo mangas later Haruhi couldn't take it anymore, but Kirimi wanted more. "Okay, another story. I have one I hope you'll like." I said and I made her lay down on the couch as I tried to sit in the mini skirt. I have been too busy to change. "Alright. Once upon a time, there was this little Prince, he has blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes as vast as the ocean. But alas he wasn't happy, you see he needed someone to love and to be loved back. He searched far and wide in his kingdom of light but couldn't find a single girl that he could love." Kirimi was on the verge of tears. "He was going to give up till one day he disobeyed the laws. Now little Kirimi this was a strange land where those who worship the sun were seen as beautiful creatures with tan skin. And since they worshipped the sun they never seen the moon and some were even scared of the long lies of the people who worship the moon. But he ventured out beyond anything he recognized or called home. He walked till nightfall when he bumped into someone. She had fair skin and beautiful raven locks. She was the princess of the moon worshippers. And as they stood there they felt something special... it was love. They got married after they declared that they wouldn't be torn apart and so they ran away. They had children who didn't fear the moon or the sun but when they came to Earth some where still moon dwellers and Sun worshippers." I said and she stayed awake. "You my dear are a sun worshipper and your brother, your Prince, is a moon dweller." I said and she wanted to see her brother. "Do you think you got to her?" Haruhi whispered, "only time will tell."
