Chapter 21: can she be helped? + Their first date

((Hana pov))

"Mori." A calming voice said, my chest swelled and my heart hurt. "That's right." I said and cleared away my tears. "Mori..." I said and touched Takashi's cheek. I dropped my hand and looked around, "guys? Where are we?" I asked as the Host Club came into view and my family slipped away. I looked over to Mori who was crying, "oh god, what did I do now?" I said and tried to wipe them away. "Hana, do you remember who we are?" Hikaru asked, "I've been with school with all of you for around two years, of course I know you." I said and remembered that I saw all my family not long ago. I ran a hand through my hair and looked up, "well... now I'm embarrassed. What did I do when I was in my delusion?" I asked and looked around. "And where are we?" I asked, "well, you thought that we were your family and then you and Haruhi made dinner." Kyoya said, "okay, well, not too bad." I said, "we're at Takashi's house." Honey said and held Usa-Chan. I looked up to Mori he was smiling with tears streaming down his face. "We thought we lost you." Hikaru said, "well don't worry, I'll be around for a bit longer." I said and wiped away Mori's tears. "We better get going, Mori you watch after her." Tamaki said and they all left. Mori kept crying, I haven't seen him cry before... "Don't worry, your still stuck with me." I said and he leaned in close to my face and rested his forehead on mine. "Hana, I love you." He whispered.

Mori loves me?! How am I supposed to answer to that?! Do I say I love him as well? The words were stuck in my throat. I closed the gap between us and we started to kiss. He kissed me back and it was just a cycle of kissing and being kissed in return.

Love. I now know what Love is.

I woke up and Mori was asleep beside the bed in a chair. He rested his head on my stomach. I ran my hands through his hair. It was still dark and he sounded like he was purring. He smiled and moved his head down to my lap. I sat up and watched him, he had long lashes and his nose still twitched when he slept. I smiled and kept running my hands through his hair. The sun began to raise. The sky was tinted gold and pink. He moaned and looked up to me. I smiled and he sat up. "Good morning." I said and he smiled and leaned in close to me, "are you well enough to get up?" He asked and I nodded, "yeah," I said and he picked me up, "not what I had in mind of getting up but I'm not complaining." I said and he smiled again. We ate breakfast, picked up Honey and went back to the Pension house. Haruhi, the rest of the hosts were talking to a boy except Hikaru and Kaoru. Hikaru got insecure and said that Haruhi didn't need the other boy. Haruhi slapped him and Kaoru ran after him. I came up as Kaoru came out dressed like Hikaru. I opened the door and saw Hikaru laying down under some blankets. "Hikaru..." I said and he looked over to me, "Hey Hana." He said and started to play a DS. "Are you scared you might loose Haruhi?" I asked and he glared over to me, "Why don't you just leave?" He spat, "Hikaru, I know why your doing this I know that you want to go back in time and stop yourself from saying such a thing but..." He hit me, "leave!" He yelled and I sighed, "I know you didn't mean it. I just want you to know that I forgive you." I said and left. Mori looked at me and saw the bruise accumulating on my arm. "He's going to be a while." I said and Mori wrapped one arm around me. This was nice... I've never had someone this close before... does this mean that were technically dating? He kissed my cheek and I looked up to him. "Do you want to go somewhere tomorrow? Walk around?" He asked and I nodded and smiled. We sat in the cafe and heard some of the adventures that Haruhi had when she was younger.

Later on I went to bed and I dreamt of my family when they were happy... I woke up and cleared away the sleep tears and began to get ready for the date. I picked out a blue dress with a pair of blue heels. I slipped on Mori's ring that he gave me and I pulled a brush through my hair. It wasn't brushing my shoulders anymore, it was now a bit below my shoulders. I smiled as I walked out and found the cafe we were meeting at. I sat down and I heard running. I turned and saw Mori in a black form fitting shirt, jeans, and sandals. I smiled and hugged him as he embraced me. "Did you wait long?" He asked and I shook my head. We walked around I sware I saw half the Host Club stalking us and the other half following Haruhi and Hikaru. Mori and I sat down but then he got back up and came back with two soft served ice cream. Mine was vanilla and his was strawberry. "Wanna try some of the vanilla?" I asked and he nodded. I held the cone up to his mouth and his took a bite. He smiled and held out his. I took the same amount and he chuckled as he kissed the side of my mouth, I felt that there was ice cream in between us. We sat in silence as we ate ice cream hand in hand. We kept walking around when I saw a pair of cute horse phone charms. I turned around and saw that Mori was now holding them in his hand and asked for my phone. I gave it to him and he attached one of the charms to mine and the other to his.

I looked up and saw that the clouds were getting heavier. Mori sniffed the air, making his nose twitch. I smiled and we began walked back to the Pension. It began to dump buckets so we ducked underneath a tree. An ear piercing sound penetrated my system and I curled up into a ball. Mori picked me up and hugged me, everything seems to drown out when I touch him...

((I wanted to really play with Hana and her delusion but she's pretty smart and I felt like if I let it go on for too long then she and the Host Club wouldn't be that connected. So I made her brake down knowing that something BIG was missing from her life. That thing being, of course, her friends, the Host Club.))
