Monday came around, Jade forcing herself to get up and go to school. To show everyone that she didn't need Beck. She had a lot of other things going for her. She was fine.

She pulled up in the school's parking lot, making sure she looked presentable. Jade decided that maybe it was time for her to just focus on herself anyways. She wanted to become an actress and she didn't need no guy distracting her.

Jade got out the truck, walking into the school building as she bit down on her tongue. Tori and Beck were the first she made eye contact with. Jade walked by the two of them, just passing through.

"Hey." Beck greeted her.

"Yeah? Hi." She replied, continuing to pass them as she turned the corner and went to go to Sikowitz.

Class started minutes after. Jade and Beck sat on the opposite sides of the room, Jade rolling her eyes as she knew Tori would be sitting next to Beck.

Jade's POV
See, now this is why I never  liked  her. She was always after Beck, can't she find some other guy to follow around like a lost puppy? Fuck.

Sikowitz asked the boys how the play was coming along. Jade listened as the boys were pretty excited about it. Knowing deep down how artistic Andre and Beck were. She didn't exactly like Beck during this time but she would definitely support her friend in his play. Meaning Andre.

"Jade?" Sikowitz asked.

"What?" Jade answered.

"Are you still interested in being the lead in their play?" Sikowitz asked.

He definitely knew we weren't together. Sikowitz was more than a teacher to us all, he was like a friend. Our favorite hippy like friend.

"I'm not charity. We broke up," Jade stood up and looked over at Beck. "You don't need to feel sorry for me, or be nice to me. You got what you wanted, please, just leave me the hell alone and out of this. We're in class together, we're peers. All we are ever going to be." Jade shook her head as she grabbed her bag and walked out of class.

Sikowtiz was lost at words. This must've been the first time where Jade was talkative and easy to communicate with rather than to argue. She used her words instead of easy, go to actions that always left her in trouble. Beck still felt bad. He genuinely loved Jade. He just didn't know if it was a good idea to stay with her.

Tori's POV
Maybe I shouldn't have spoken so loud. I know, Jade hates me more than ever. I don't exactly like her all the time but I know that she's very to herself and isn't the one to speak about her emotions. Which is why I feel bad. She needs someone to talk to. Maybe I should talk to her? Make sure she is okay.

The bell rang and that was when all of them continued their day with their other classes. Jade kept to herself, she was emotionally exhausted. She felt as if she was going to burst, which she'd love that but at this moment? Not so much.

Jade was sitting on the steps, her legs crossed as she was drawing something. Nobody knew Jade took pride in art, drawing and painting. She was highly interested, it was one of her favorite ways she coped with her emotions. Tori was alone, approaching her nervously.

"What do you want?" Jade looked up at her before she even had a chance to say something.

"I just wanted to apologize." Tori said to her, leaning on the metal bar.

"For what? You weren't the one saying they wanted to break up with me. You were just there, probably internally screaming now that he's single." Jade rolled her eyes.

"I would never do that to you, Jade. Don't you get that? You don't like me but I like you." Tori said seriously, watching as Jade had a certain facial expression you couldn't tell if it was good, or bad.

"Why?" Jade laughed. "Over these few years, i've been so awful to you." Jade added, questioning her.

"I just think it's how we work. You're mean, i'm nice. Perfect duo." Tori replied.

Jade couldn't help but to smile. "Don't tell anyone that you made me smile, got it, Vega?"

"Got it." Tori immediately replied. Changing her facial expression once one walked by.

The next few days, Tori and Jade gotten pretty close. In secret though, they didn't hangout in front of anyone they knew. It was extremely weird but also comforting. Ever since they've gotten close, Tori got distant with Beck. Was Jade the one Tori wanted to get close to all along? Obviously they were friends but Tori wasn't always hanging out with Beck as much as they did. Also they all sort of became friends. Jade sucked it up and dealt with their breakup, was actually okay with it.
