He glanced up, smirking hard. Eliza obviously didn't expect Alexander, her best friend, to dare her to kiss him.

What he didn't expect was for her, without hesitation, to pull his face close and kiss him hard.

Elizabeth Hamilton tugged on her husband's Army cap, pulling it up onto his auburn hair. She melted in his strong embrace, trying so hard not to cry. Even though the shrill whistle blocked out the chatter, Alexander could still hear her whisper—

"Red Bull or Monster?" Alexander asked, weighing his options. Eliza rolled her eyes, putting both cans of caffeine down.

"Neither, your need for caffeine is disgusting."

"Pregnant," She cried, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend.

Alexander gave a huge grin, embracing her back. The couple spun around, excited to meet their baby in a few months.

"Why'd you choose me, out of all of your suitors?" Her heart stopped as she glanced at the street boy.

"Because," she started, lacing her hand with his, "none of them are you."
