Born in vast nothingness was the first god. He called himself Sarmonean. He soon discovered his great mind and, with this all-powerful mind, he harnessed the power of creation. To satisfy his aching hunger for friendship, he created himself a mate. She was made as a stunning white wolf with angelic wings. They lived together in the infinite darkness for ages, even though time did not yet exist.
Soon, the mate realized she had begun to feel the loneliness that her mate had felt long ago. The beautiful wolf used her powers and named herself a mother to be called Osinsirkus by her pups.
"I have in me four children, each with a power of their own," she told her mate soon before the pups birth.
Sarmonean had no response. For his all-powerful and all-seeing mind could see both the positives and negatives of her decision.
He smiled, "When do they join us?"
Osinsirkus smiled back, "Soon."
And soon was right. The four pups quickly joined them into their unending realm of black. Each pup having a special power of their own like their mother had promised them. Farnokean, god of air, was calm of nature. Yasonen, god of fire and earth, was rowdy and playful. Casmekonus, goddess of living plants, was curious, but quiet. Alekush, goddess of water, was playful and kind.
As they grew, so did their curiosity, like all pups. They began to play with their powers in the vast nothingness, and out of that they created the Two Wolves World. Sarnonean and Osinsirkus taught them more of their powers and each day, the children used them in the world they had mistakenly created.
As they grew from pup to wolf, they soon also felt the loneliness that their parents had once felt. So, Yasonen and Casmekonus started their own family. The siblings pranced around in the infinte darkness, filled with anticipation. By prancing, they had drifted away from their creation and their parents deeper into the nothingness. However, none had told their creators what they had done.
Meanwhile, Sarmonean and Osinsirkus had discovered the world created by mistake. Osinsirkus looked upon it with joy and happiness filled her heart. For Sarmonean, it was inspiration. He and Osinsirkus built a universe of more worlds; each unique in every single way.
While their parents finished their part of creation, the four pups gathered around the new additions. Zatonus had captured his fathers fire power and was named the god of light. Ryemen harnessed her mother's powers of living plants and became the goddess of living creatures. Their third pup, a male, was named Hernonan, but did not seem to show any power.
"We should show our children the beautiful painting we created around their world," Osinsirkus said to her mate.
Sarmonean nodded and smiled, admiring their work. They happily travelled in search for their beloved children. When they had finally found them, they discovered there were three other wolves they had not seen before.
"Mother, Father!" Casmekonus exclaimed as she raced towards them, with her children following.
Neither of the gods spoke. Sarmonean glared at the three new additions as Osinsirkus lowered her head and glanced at her mate.
"Where did these come from?" Sarmonean asked his naive child, although he already knew the answer.
Yasonean stood proudly beside his mate, ready to defy his father for her.
"They are mine also," he barked.
Sarmonean's growl echoed through the vast nothingness, which no one knew was possible. Every other god fell, their stomachs pressed down in submission.
"YOU ARE RELATED; YOU CANNOT HAVE CHILDREN!" Their father's voice boomed.
The knowledge suddenly seeped into them and the four looked at each other ashamed. Osinsirkus shook her head, white fur swaying. Sarmonean marched back to his creation and created a large cloud high above it. Above the clouds was eternal happiness. A place he created for him and his mate. Osinsirkus looked down at her pups and grandpups, locked beneath them in their painting of the universe. Even in the eternal happiness, her sadness battled its way out.
