Branded For Revenge

chapter 6

*Kelly's POV*
Once we were back home, Griffin and I went to his house.  We did end up taking all of the artifacts and the drawing.
"Are you okay?" Griffin asked, coming back in with food.
"I don't know. I can't describe how I feel."
"That's fair. Hansen's been out already so he's good."
"Did you kill Jason?"
"Yes."
"Hmm, I'm gonna to change." I said, getting up and going into the bathroom. Once I was done i walked back into the room climbing in bed.

"Aren't you gonna do your skincare?"
"No, im afraid if I move you'll disapear." I said, laying on his chest.

*Next morning*

We got to work after getting breakfast. We talked some more about what happened after the ship, he was worried about me. Yet I was worried about him.
I went down to see Ducky and Abby, they were there last night so they knew that Griffin was alive. After visiting with them, we went back into the bullpen.

We didn't have a case, so we just talked, and caught up on paperwork. They didn't notice the tattoos, which I was sort of hiding. I thought I was doing good until..
"New tattoo?" Abby asked, looking at the one that said 'you jump, I jump'  I looked at Griffn. The others stopped what they were doing.
"Uh, I guess you could say that." I said.
"That doesn't look fresh, when did you get it?" DiNozzo asked, coming over to me. Everyone gathered around.
"Uh, about a week after the sinking. Griffin got his about a day or so after."
"You only got one?" Abby asked, she seemed disappointed.
"No, actually I got one that say 'you jump, I jump 'one that says' never let go' and one that says 'my heart will go on'" I said, showing them to the team.
"How have we never noticed?" Maddie asked.
"I've been wearing long sleeves"
"Where's yours?" Abby asked, looking at Griffin.
"On my right forearm." He said, showing them his.
"Couple tattoos," Abby said, smirking.
"We didn't get them together, or at the same time." I said.
"So." She said, walking away.
Maddie had to leave.

"Who's buying lunch?" Abby came up and asked.
"What do y'all want?" dad asked. We all looked around at each other.
"Pizza sounds good." Dinozzo said.
"Yeah." we all agreed.
"Good, DiNozzo. You're buying." dad said.

When it was closer to time to go and get the pizza, DiNozzo and dad left. We were talking with Ziva, while Mcgee was talking with Abby,  Griffin went to the bathroom. We heard the elevator ding, hoping it was them with the pizza.

After we ate, we talked a bit more. After about an hour we heard the elevator ding. Maddie came back, bleeding and bruised.
"Oh my God. Maddie." I said running up to her, I caught her just before she fell.
"Maddie, what happened?"
"Emma."
"What happened Maddie, come on talk to me?"
"Ja-" she managed to whisper just before going unconscious.

I felt my breathing become unsteady.
"Get her to a hospital."
The car ride to the hospital was silent. The second the car stopped I got out. I ran into where they had taken her. Luckily she didn't need surgery. She did have a cracked rib, and cuts and bruises all over her. I paced back and forth trying to calm down, but couldn't.
