Guys, I've started watching SPN recently and I made a reference to it in my last rant. I swear its taking over my life. And do you want to know why I say this?

Well, the other day at school I was getting annoyed with everyone and my friend goes,

"Wouldn't be great if we could punch them?"

And do you know what I said in response to that? Through clenched teeth I said,

"I wish these people were all possessed by demons so I could chuck salt and holy water on them and they would burn!"

She looked at me with wide eyes as she got my reference. She's a SPN fan as well.

Then another friends goes,

"You're too obsessed with Supernatural."

The thing is, I would usually brush something like this off, if not for what happened last night.

So all the lights at home were turned off and I was getting a glass of water. The only source of light was coming from the open door of my bedroom. I'm really absorbed in glass of water because I'm coming up with a story idea so I'm basically tuning out almost everything. Then, I hear an crash and my sister starts yelling profanities.
And do you want to know what my first thought was?

"Sh*t! Bloody Mary or some demon has come to murder us all!"

My mum then yells from her room asking us,

"Who dares disturb my slumber?!"

And turns out my sister just dropped her calculator. So you see, SPN has given a calculator the power to scare me witless. As well as the dark and loud noises. And mirrors. I couldn't look into a reflective surface for days after the Bloody Mary episode.

My reaction to SPN shouldn't really surprise me as I've never been a fan of horror. Actually, I hate horror, period. But after Sherlock I've been desperate for a new series and I had nothing except Glee on my laptop. And do you know what I did? I wasted my weekends for the last school term watching Glee and singing 'Don't Stop Believing' to sad looking people down the school halls. Which was basically everyone.

I was desperate enough to watch a high school drama about singing. And that isn't usually my thing. As I have said before, I like action, killing and things that go boom. Not singing.

But back to Supernatural. For now, it has a really basic plot. And that is, 'two good looking brothers, one who likes killing and shooting people and the other who likes killing and shooting people but subtly, go hunting demons while listening to Metallica.' That is it. But it is freaking awesome.

SPN is up there with Sherlock on my all time favourite shows. The only thing that makes a little sad is that I have to wait until season four to meet Castiel. Aka Misha Collins. God, for some reason I love his name. Misha. Misha. Misha Misha. It's just so nice. Also, I like his trench coat. On that note, I want his trench coat. And Deans jacket. Definitely Deans jacket.

As it so happens, SPN has had the same affect my friend that was similar to my demon calculator incident.

She was out shopping with her mum when she saw this chick with a pentagram tattoo on her wrist. Pentagrams have something to do with demonic possession or whatever. Any who, as soon as my friend notices the tattoo the lights started flickering and she's full on freaking out telling her mum to get out of the store because of demons.

And her mum just goes,

"What?! Are crazy or something!"

I hate horror stories that revolve around driving at night and Psycho killers and demons. The reason for that is because every Friday, we (me and my family) make the two hour drive to my dad's house in the country. (My parents aren't divorced. My dad lives there because of his job) It gets really dark during the drive. And because of SPN, I now imagine some kind of monster to jump out and murder me. So all around warm and cozy thoughts surrounding SPN.

So my tip for those of you, who like me are faint hearted but want to watch
Supernatural. Watch it during the day and if you watch at night, do it preferably with someone who's immune to fear. And someone who won't try and jump scare you like my sister does. But really, the jokes on her. We were watching SPN and she had a cup of steaming hot tea in her hand and she tried to jump scare me. Needless to say, I jumped. While doing so, I bumped her hand and the tea fell. Everywhere. So yay me.

Moral of the story: Supernatural is awesome. But it will give you urge to shout 'Christo' at certain people and stay away from certain places. Meaning everywhere. But look on the bright side, SPN fans shouldn't be afraid of everything because we know how to kill everything. So you'll always want a gun handy. Preferably with silver bullets.

From the girl siting inside a circle of salt with a pistol in her hand waiting for Sam and Dean to show up with Castiel to save her from demons,

Kuro, out!
