A/N: Okay, so welcome to my Shinkami story! My name's Apollo, so hi. About a month ago I was like a mega Tododeku shipper, and also Kiribaku, but I was completely unaware that ShinKami was even a ship, but then I was reading a Tododeku story, and I came across Shinkami. I was like whatever about it because I didn't originally ship either of them with anyone, but then Shinkami started popping up on my TikTok, and then all over my youtube and the next thing I know it's like almost my top ship, so why not write fanfic for them:)

Kaminari's POV:

I'd been scrolling through memes all night because why not, they're amazing, and I came across a really funny one and forwarded it to the Bakusquad group chat,

(over text)

D: *Insert favorite meme here*

K: bro, it's literally 2 in the morning, you woke me up!

D: Aww man no ones responding:(

K: Bro, I'm responding...

M: Stop spamming my phone with stupid memes ALL NIGHT!

D: Oh hey Mina:333

M: I'm going back to bed

K: Yeah same

D: Aww, okay see you at school tomorrow:)

I sighed, then stayed up for another hour or two watching Love Simon. If anyone found out that I loved this movie, and was secretly gay and wanted more than anything to fall in love just like Simon did, then I'd be doomed. That's why I've kept it a secret for so long, why can't I just stay in the closet forever, it's just easier that way, or at least until I'm old and all my friends are dead anyways. 

"Good Morning- god you guys look like you died last night..." I said when I walked into homeroom class the next morning. "Yeah because you woke us up at two in the morning!" Mina growled, she is definitely not a morning person, "yeah, and why are you so energetic?" Kirishima asked me. I shrugged, "it's like you chugged a bucket of energy drinks," Sero chimed in, "well, I just have energy coursing through my veins!" I told them, flexing my pecs like a big old wrestler, Mina snorted then turned back to her work. I laughed like an idiot then made my way over to my seat, exchanging a best friend handshake with Jiro on my way. Sero gave me a stupid look from across the room, he and the rest of the class were convinced that I was in love with Jiro, she's one of my closest friends, sure, and I love her to death, but they don't know that I don't like girls, so liking Jiro isn't really an option. Although I don't deny it because then they won't think I'm gay. Mr. Aizawa came into the classroom and scolded us for being loud then began his lesson, none of which I understood or picked up on so I stared at my pencil and dozed out for the whole class. 

~time skip to after class~

"Oi, shitty hair, Pikachu, alien eyes, tape bitch, we're going to my dorm! If you arent there I'll be pissed!" Bakugo yelled before marching off. We all cheered that Bakugo actually invited us over without us having to convince him to hang out with us, then followed him out the school door. Bakugo and Kirishima walked in front and Sero, Mina, and I walked behind them, Mina occasionally running ahead to talk to Bakugo and Kirishima. "So, when are you going to tell Jiro you like her, if you want I can," Mina said putting her hands behind her back and popping up in front of me. "It's not like that you guys," I said frowning, "oh yeah, then what's it like?" Sero asked, I paused and didn't respond, "hah! You aren't denying it!" Mina shouted, I rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out. "Ooh! Look at the sunset guys!" Kirishima yelled from in front of us, "since when do you like sunsets so much Kiri," Sero asked while laughing, "hey, sunsets are really manly! Look how orange and cool they are," Kiri replied defensively. We made it to the dorms and walked to Bakugo's, then all went inside, Bakugo slammed the door and took his shoes off, his room was really basic, and cool I guess. "Hey, we should play Minecraft," I suggested, "ooh I'm down!" Mina yelled and grabbed a controller off of Bakugo's desk, "Bakubro has a few controllers, I won't play though," Kiri said, getting two more controllers out of a drawer, "yeah I don't want to play either, that games fucking dumb," Bakugo said and slumped down on his bed.

"It isn't dumb! It's legendary bro," I said, turning the x-box on and pulling up Minecraft. "Hey did you hear we're getting a new student in 1-A," Kiri said from the bed above us, "oh yeah, Jiro told me it was because Mineta got expelled for being a pervert, so they had to replace him with another student," I said while building a really awesome house in the game. "Yeah, apparently his name is Shinso, I don't know anyone by that name though," Sero added, "isn't that the guy who Midoriya played in the sports festival? He was the one with that cool mind power," Mina asked, "Oh yeah that's him," Kirishima responded. "Ugh, another extra to fucking deal with," Bakugo growled, "He's a real quiet guy, and he hates friends so you don't have to worry about him," I told everyone, they all looked at me, I was hyper-focused and one hundred percent invested in Minecraft though so I barely noticed. "You know him?" Mina asked, "oh yeah, I tried making friends with him when we first met him before the sports festival, he was the guy who scolded Bakugo for the way he treated the other classes that one day," I snorted out a laugh then Bakugo yelled at me. 

We played video games while talking all night, then went back to our dorms at 7:30 so Bakugo could go to bed. Then Aizawa sent the group chat a text saying the new student would be moving into the dorms tomorrow and that we'd all have to make an effort to include him and make him feel welcomed. I looked at his dorm number and realized it was right across the hall from mine, "cool," I said to myself then sipped the 'Ultra Citron' Monster drink I had on the desk next to me. It was still really early, so I watched Youtube until late into the night, then eventually got tired and fell asleep.
