The last day of shooting came much more quickly than Shayne expected. He knew the movie was going to be filmed in a short time, but four months flew by in a blink of an eye.

He loved the cast. He really did.

"Hey, Shayne, happy last day!" greeted Noah, with Keith trailing close behind him. The trio stood in the Padilla Studios parking lot, grouping together before heading into the filming space one last time.

Filming with Noah and Keith always led to rambunctious laughter, an uncanny banter that was seamless. They sent him in stitches with snarky, well-timed joked and teasing. The amount of laughter they shared made Shayne want to work with them even more.

"Looks like Liv Liv's late again. You'd think she'd try to show up on time for the last day of the shoot," chuckled Keith as he led the way.

"We'll give her plenty of shit for it," promised Shayne with a smirk.

Shayne expected Olivia to be a princess given her iconic superstar status, but she turned out to be one of the quirkiest people he had ever met. Her flair for made-up words and insightful, appreciative advice truly made her one of a kind.

Tried and true, Olivia arrived behind them only a few minutes later, coffee cup adorning one hand while a pair of Versace sunglasses sat precariously on her nose.

"Don't even start," she warned, flipping off Keith's teasingly judgemental expression.

Shayne surveyed the studio before him. The final two weeks of filming were centered around the main battle scenes. Within the enormous studio lot, fake city debris was scattered across the gigantic room. Overturned cars, dozens of extras in civilian gear, and war-torn costumes clothed the main actors.

The group joined Ian, Tommy, and Damien, who stood by a group of large camera operators.

From the direction standpoint, Shayne had never seen a visual tag-team quite like Tommy and Ian. Ian's vision was majestic, and his focus and dedication to the art were apparent. Tommy balanced his analytical ways with an artistic flair for big ideas. Between the two of them, the project balanced humor with action perfectly.

The only real downer of the all-cast days was seeing Damien. It was obvious that his former best friend didn't want to speak to him. Dozens of missed calls and texts could smooth over what had happened all those months ago, but Damien refused to try. After a while, Shayne stopped trying.

He had no good reason to believe that Damien Haas would ever speak to him again.

Shayne shook his head. No use getting bogged down this early in the morning.

After meeting with Matt to change into costumes, the group refocused on today's scenes.

"All right everyone, happy last day! Let's make some movie magic. We'll take it from the top of scene 145A," announced Tommy.

Shayne stood, tried, and true in his armor and red cape. Despite his heroic attire, he was undeniably nervous. Working with Damien always set him on edge; he had made it through dozens of group scenes with Damien throughout the filming of the movie, but he was never that close to him. At least, not compared to today.

His character, Thor, had to fight alongside Captain America for quite a few scenes. It was expected - they were teammates, for crying out loud. But it felt unnatural to pretend like they had that level of personal connection. It was a stark difference from reality.

Walking to his starting position, Shayne braced himself for the opening act of the sequence.

He dreaded filming scene 145A. The scene was set during the battle of New York, the true climax of the movie. At this point, the team had bonded over a major character death, overcome their differences, and regrouped to fight the Chitauri. At this point in the story, Black Widow and Hawkeye were paired off to fight. Iron Man was already doing who knows what, which left Cap and Thor to face off against Loki alone.
