Dear diary,

Stefan and Damon are vampires. I don't know how to feel about that. I still have feelings for Damon but I'm scared will he hurt me? Will he compel me? Is he the man I met a month ago?

There are too many problems going on. A man named Elijah came to us because of Elena she's a doubleganger. He told us a guy named klaus his brother and how he is planning to kill him. Why does this has to happen to us. Elena and I are just humans I hate this. She's my best friend and I love her but why did she have to fall for Stefan and why did I have to fall for Damon? Katherine is also here that bitch. I love her. She's mean but I love that. Elena says I'm like katherine and I agree. Anyways I think that's it. I have no idea what to do. I just hope nothing bad happens

I shut my diary and walked down my stairs to go meet Elena.

I saw my dad in the kitchen so I thought I should tell him where I was going.

"hey dad":I said

"hey what do you want for breakfast?":he asked

"actually I was wondering if I could go to Elena's":I asked

"sure":he said

"thanks dad you're the best":I said

I walked out the door and headed to Elena's.

I opened the door and went up to Elena's room.

I opened her door and saw her writing in her diary.

She looked up and I smirked.

"how you holding up?":I asked

"I don't know this is all so hard how are we going to get through this":she asked

"we'll get through this you have Stefan he won't let anything happen to you":I said

"how about you?":she asked

"me what?":I asked

"you and Damon ":she said

"you wanna go to the grill I wanna go to the grill":I said

"ash don't change the subject":she said

"I still love him but I'm scared": I said

"why are you scared?":she asked "because he's a vampire?"

"no because he's him and he has only loved one girl for 145 years what if I'm only a toy?":I said

She looked at me. Then looked behind me I turned around and there he was.

I just wanted to go kiss him but I was still scared.

"I'll give you two a minute":she said

Elena left and it was only me and Damon.

"so you think you were only a toy that I don't love you?":he asked

"yes":I said

He came and sat next to me.

"I love you so much Ashley. You don't have to be scared I will protect you haven't I shown you how much you mean to me I would scream it to the world but I don't have to because you are my world and I only have to whisper it to you":he said

"what if something bad happens ":I asked

"we will get through it together":he said

I just couldn't look at him if I did I'd kiss him.
