Chapter Text:

Chen Miyun woke everyone up at 8:00 the next morning, not that Zhang Xinjie needed to be woken up, but everyone else liked to sleep in.

How she woke them up, classic method. Chen Miyun grabbed two metal pots and banged them against each other for 5 minutes straight until Zhang Xinjie sighed and told her she could stop.

As everyone came down, Chen Miyun got some glares from the others, but she didn't see them since she was already making breakfast with Zhang Xinjie. Though she did feel that someone was looking at her very intensely several times.

Once everyone finished eating, they all brushed their teeth and washed their face. After making sure that everyone (including Ye Xiu) had their phones with them, Chen Miyun lead them to them closest metro station where the others convinced her to let them pay for their own tickets.

For most of the pro players, it was their first time or first time in a long time on a metro and a lot of things were new to them. Luckily, they managed to not get lost or stray away from the rest of the group so that spared Chen Miyun the trouble of finding them and lecturing them about being careful.

The ride to Washington DC was a fairly quick one, only about 30 minutes, considering the fact that Chen Miyun's house was in Northern Virginia.

When they got to their stop, Chen Miyun lead them through the crowded metro station yet again and they finally made it outside.

"Finally, some breathing space," Chu Yunxiu sighed and everyone agreed with her. None of them were used to being in such crowded spaces.

Chen Miyun turned around and looked at the others, clasping her hands together, "So! Where do you guys want to go first?"

Everyone gave some suggestions and she took them around the more known parts of Washington DC before taking them to the town-like areas. After almost three hours of walking around, Huang Shaotian started complaining and Chen Miyun mocked him for being so lazy.

They stopped at a pond where Chen Miyun pulled out a big rolled up blanket from her bag. She laid it out and gave some bread to Yu Wenzhou, telling the others that they could feed the ducks if they wanted.

"Oh and you two," Chen Miyun pointed at Ye Xiu and Chu Yunxiu, "and anyone else for that matter. If you want to smoke then go over there," she pointed at an area at bit further away, but still visible from their spot. "Just don't wander off and come back when you're done."

After resting for a bit, they played around on an open field and Chen Miyun bought them popsicles and ice creams as well.

"Since you all payed for your metro ticket, I'm treating you to ice cream," was her explanation.

She also took them around to some of the market areas in DC, where everyone bought something as a souvenir. The three girls stayed together, giggling in delight while picking out matching sun umbrellas.
