"Charity you moron. You got us kicked out and you know very well I'm struggling with this module."
I screeched at my idiot of a friend. Charity looked my way and smirked... She had that mischievous smirk she has whenever she's up to no good. The sad part of this situation is that I'm most likely to be roped into whatever stupid journey she's about to embark on.
"Friend, you have no classes after this right? I mean it was just cultural studies for today? And you have no plans whatsoever. Meaning you have the rest of the day free."
What I've learned from my few years of friendship with this girl is that whenever Charity rambles as she types on her phone, no one is going to make it alive and that my good people scared the living day lights outa me.
I sent Lee a quick text just so she knows where to start looking if I go missing, [Babe, Charity has that funny look she has whenever she's up to no good. I might need you to bail me out of prison if whatever she has planned goes south. Love ya much]...
"Charity, what are you up to?" I asked my lovely friend. "I can't leave campus now. I have a paper due friday and I'm far from starting, well technically I haven't started but you get what I mean." All this while she's pulling me towards the parking lot.
So here's the deal, all my friends drive and I'm the only one with a fear of driving. Lee drives like a maniac, in simple words, she drive like those crazy taxi drivers. I literally have to keep reminding her that there's another human being in the car. Charity is much worse of driver compared to Lee. I don't think she knows the importance of a seat belt.
"Sadly we need to leave like now. You can start working on your paper tomorrow since you the entire day to yourself. You have no classes unlike some of us. Oh yeah, buckle up and please don't say anything about my driving today." The look she gave me as she said this confirmed my worst fear. Charity was about to take me for a drive, one that may leave me sick in my stomach for days...

The drive back to my place from campus is normally 15 minutes, that's with careful driving. However the same 15 minute drive is always reduced to less than 5 minutes whenever its Lee or Charity.
"You are so lucky there were no cops patrolling today. Are you trying to get us killed??? And why the on earth is that moron waiting by her car with that its about to get messy smirk on her face???" Instead of giving me a straight answer, Charity ran straight to my best friend and gave her a hug.
So Charity drove us back to my place and shockingly, maybe not, Lee was leaning next to her car wearing her signature slick mischievous smirk. These two together? Nothing but trouble. I walked over to them and gave Lee the warmest hug I could master then proceeded to unlock my door.
I may have forgotten to give you guys a mental tour of my room, at least the setting and the type of living arrangement. My room is a two sharing and it's very spacious. The girl I'm sharing with is studying teaching at a varsity I had never heard of. She seemed nice from the two nights I'd spent in that room. She however was always cooped up in the room.
"Damn. Why so many pillows though. Is she using all these pillows to cuddle or..." Charity has no filter whatsoever. So my roommate has about 4 pillows on a single bed, that's including a continental pillow. My first night there I asked her how she sleeps with that many pillows and her response was "Ow easy. I only use one. The rest are always on the floor when I sleep."
As we were chilling in my room there was a knock on my door. The three of us shared a look 'cause I had only been there for like a weekend and hadn't exactly made friends as of yet. So we were wondering who was at the door. So I made my way to the door and opened and low and behold it was the cute guy Lee and I saw the other day.
"Uhm hi. There's a get to know each other dinner party event happening on Friday. Please RSVP latest Thursday so we can sort out the catering and all that before Friday night." The cute guy handed me the flyer and left before I could even respond.
"Mimi, isn't that the same guy we saw Friday when you moved in? The one who radiates trouble." Asked Lee as she ran up to me to take a look at the flyer I had in my hand.
"Earth to Mimi... Earth to Mimi. Friend are you okay? You look gobsmacked. Are you even breathing??" The moment she said that last statement, Charity and Lee burst into a fit of laughter.
I didn't realised I had stopped breathing for a few seconds or so. Oh my word. He's so hot. "Did you guys see the dimples. Wait did I just make a fool of myself in front of that cute guy (face palm). Guys why didn't you help me out though. Wait, I can't attend this meet and greet thing. I don't have anything to wear."
I can feel myself panicking. I scrambled to my closet and stood there with my hands on my waist. At this moment I had just realised that because of my profession, I had zero casual, cute clothes to wear. My closet was full of formal wear because I hardly went out since I always had so much work to do.
"Well ladies, this calls for a nice long trip to the mall"...
