I groaned loudly.'Where even am I?'
Opening my eyes, I glanced around. It was dark.
That might be because I could only see out of one eye at the moment. It was covered by something.
The only light came from the large blue moon outside of what seemed like a window.I tilted my head, standing up and walking over to it.
"It's so pretty. . ." I muttered, staring out at the mass.
"It almost looks fake.""Whatever. I need to get out of here."
I quickly turned around, facing back to the rest of the room. There was a small table with nothing other than what looked like a keycard machine and a typewriter.
Walking over to it, I began to hear clicking.
It was coming from the typewriter. What is your name?
"Er... Adrianne Lawson."
Why are you here?
I tilted my head, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know?"
Why?
"I said I don't know."
Letting out an agitated sigh, I waited for the machine to finish it's next words.
Why?
Why?
Why were you in the woods?
My eyes widened. How did it know that?
"I don't know? Some jerk my dad sent for me cut my face up and I ran. Now I'm here. What else was I supposed to do?"
As the words left my mouth, a wave of terror came over me. I swung my head around and ran over to the nearest mirror.
My eyes widened as they fell on my face...
A large gash going from my cheek to my chin was the first thing I saw.
The second was a stab wound that dragged down from the left side of my chest to the right side of my stomach. My shirt was practically hanging on by a thread.Several smaller cuts and bruises littered my body, but I couldn't feel them.
Before I had the chance to do anything else, a loud beep was heard as a small plastic item flew out of a small compartment hidden in the side of the typewriter.
I walked over and picked it up. "A keycard? For what..?" I muttered to myself.
Nothing else was in the room, so I decided to walk out.
I found myself in a dark hallway with a tall chain fence at the end.
Quickly walking over to it, I saw that a keycard machine was on a small shelf beside of it.
Hesitantly inserting the card, a quiet click came from the contraption as the gate opened."Something tells me that I'm not leaving this place any time soon..."
