Chapter 5

Meeting

Bukas na ang meeting for the upcoming big project. I can say na 90% ready na ako, but then the 10% consist of me conditioning myself. Although I'm enthusiastically waiting for this moment, kinakabahan pa rin ako. This is one of my most awaited project of all projects I've done.

I still have one day to complete or do some proofread in my presentation.

Nakalugmok ako ngayon sa harap ng computer ko, making my presentation perfect. Ang aga ko ngang pumasok ngayon, I'm already here 6:00 in the morning.

I sipped on my coffee and looked around, medyo konti pa lang ang mga tao since maaga pa naman. Even the CEO , Jame Talego, my secret boyfriend, is not yet here. I texted him naman maaga ako ngayon.

My stomach makes noise and that's when I realize that I haven't had my breakfast yet. I sighed and stretched my arms.

"Marami pa naman oras tsaka masyado pang maaga kaya pwede naman siguro muna akong kumain right?" Me talking to my computer. As if naman sasagot yan, paunahan nalang kami tumakbo pag sumagot yan.

I laughed at my thoughts and just stood up instead of waiting for my computer's response.

Bumaba ako at dumiretso sa coffee shop sa tapat ng firm. This is my favorite coffee shop, bukod sa less hassle dahil tatawid ka lang ay kilala na rin ako ng mga staff since everyday ata akong natambay diyan. I hope na hindi sila nagsasawa sa mukha.

Pagkapasok ko palang ay dumiretso na ako sa counter para umorder. I ordered a chocolate bread and an ice coffee. I looked around and saw a few people sitting with their eyes on their laptops.

Umupo ako sa may tabi ng bintana at tumingin sa labas.

I liked observing people walking out their cars or just plainly walking. Trees who swayed along with the winds. Birds humming and the busy people. Morning view like this is my thing, watching the sun take over the darkness.

It's so amicable watching the morning view. So peaceful that you don't want to end it. Although nightlife is also good including the city lights, however those things are just man made. Original views that were made naturally are more worth it to watch, I wish I could go back to our province again. I swear kapag natapos na tong project the to, I will plan my vacation in our province. I miss the province life already.

Dumating ang order ko kaya nagsimula na akong kumain. I'm busy munching my chocolate bread ng marinig ang bell ring ng pintuan ng coffee shop. I switched my attention from my bead to the door.

I saw Riah walking to the counter, probably ordering something. When she was done ordering she looked around and saw me. I waved at her and signed her to sit with me. Dumiretso siya sa kinauupuan ko at bumati.

"Good morning!" She said and sat on the chair in front of me.

"Morning."

"Aga mo ata? Mali ba orasan mo sa condo mo?" Pangaasar niya.
