"Charlie!"
Charlie rolled her eyes before turning toward Chibs with a coffee cup in hand. "I know, I'm going."
Chibs grinned and shook his head as she passed him, stopping her with a hand on her arm. "Darlin', ye know ye dinnae 'ave to baby him. He made 'is bed, let 'im lie."
Charlie grinned before leaning in to kiss her favorite Scot on the cheek. "I know, but it's easier if I take out the trash. I'm nicer about it."
Chibs sighed and nodded as she continued past him and down the hall. She paused in front of the second door on the left, not bothering to knock before opening the door and stepping inside. She shook her head at the scene in front of her: Tig passed out with the new croweater draped across him. She sighed as she thought that at least this one wasn't completely naked. She walked over and sat the cup of coffee on the nightstand before reaching out and gently shaking the girl's shoulder until she groaned and lifted her head from Tig's chest.
"What the fuck do you want? I'm trying to sleep here."
Charlie grinned as she took the younger woman's hand and pulled her to a sitting position. "Yeah, but the party's over, sweetheart. Time to get dressed and be on your way."
The woman... Charlie thought her name was Cheyenne or something like that, sighed, and nodded sadly as she stood up and started gathering her clothes from the floor. She knew that the woman would soon learn that being a croweater came with no perks. Charlie would never understand the reasoning behind these girls deciding to become playthings for the club. She knew that they thought that eventually, if they hung around enough, one of the boys would pick them to be their old lady, but Charlie knew from watching from the sidelines that those dreams were just that.
From being around and watching, she knew that the guys who had old ladies had wanted strong, independent women. Clinginess wasn't something that was desirable in a long-term relationship, for many reasons. Charlie waited until Cheyenne left before walking over and pulling the curtains back to let the morning sunlight in. She grinned when she heard a groan from the bed. She picked up the coffee mug and held it out to the man now sitting up on the side of the bed.
Tig scratched his stomach and stretched before taking the coffee from her. "Where's... I don't know her name, but the one that was here."
Charlie sighed as she turned to pick up his dirty clothes from the floor and throw them in the hamper. "I believe her name is Cheyenne and I sent her home." She motioned to the cup in his hand. "You need to drink up then get showered and dressed. You're on tow duty with Juice this morning."
Tig nodded as he yawned, standing up and stopping beside her on his way to the bathroom. "What would I do without you?"
Charlie smiled up at him as he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek before walking into the bathroom. She let her smile fall as she walked out of the room. One day, he would find out just what he would do without her.

"What are you doing?"
Charlie looked up from the shirt in her hands to see Gemma looking at her with a frown on her face. "I'm sewing a button back onto Tig's shirt, why?"
Gemma sighed and shook her head. "That's my question, sweetheart. Why? He's a big boy. He can handle his own shit."
Charlie shrugged. "I just like doing things for him. He doesn't have an old lady to do it, so I do. What's the big deal?"
Gemma lit a cigarette, blowing smoke out before answering her. "The big deal is that he treats you like you're part of the furniture around here." She leaned forward in her chair. "Are you in love with him?"
Charlie looked down before shrugging. "Yeah, I think I am." She held up a hand when Gemma groaned and started to speak. "I know, I know. I'm an idiot but it is what it is. I can't help it, Gem. I know he doesn't feel the same and it's fine."
Gemma leaned back in her chair and stared at the wall in thought for a moment before grinning and turning back to Charlie. "I don't know. He does treat you differently than everyone else." She slapped her hand down on the desk and chuckled. "Holy shit, I think he may love you too. There's one way to find out."
Charlie started shaking her head at the look on her friend's face. "Oh no, Gem. We aren't doing anything. Honestly, things are fine the way they are."
Gemma shook her head as she stood up. "No, they aren't, Charlie." She took the shirt out of Charlie's hands. "This is what we're going to do. You're going on vacation. I don't care where you go, or even if you do go anywhere, but you aren't allowed around here for two weeks. Don't answer your phone, don't come to work, and if he shows up at your house, you aren't home, got it?"
Charlie shook her head as Gemma handed her the car keys and her phone. "What are you planning, Gem?"
Gemma smirked as she practically pulled Charlie from the office. "He takes you for granted. We're going to make him realize that. You're going to disappear until Bobby's birthday party. We're going to go shopping in the meantime and find you something other than flannel shirts to wear. You're gonna knock him for a loop."
Charlie stopped in her tracks, making Gemma roll her eyes. "Wait. You're serious? I can't come around for two whole weeks?"
Gemma snorted as she pulled Charlie behind her to the car. "Yes, I'm serious. I'm issuing a no-contact order for one Tig Trager. As far as he's concerned, you've dropped off the planet. Got me?"
Charlie sighed but nodded as she opened her driver's side door. "He's not going to like it."
Gemma chuckled and nodded. "Oh, sweetheart. He's going to fucking hate it."

The next morning, Tig awoke to the sound of snoring in his ear. He groaned and frowned when he found Candi laying beside him in bed. With a muttered curse, he pushed on her until she woke up, telling her to get lost. Once he was ready for the day, he walked out to the bar area, a scowl firmly planted on his face. He walked over and poured a cup of coffee as he glared at Chibs and Happy.
"Where the fuck is Charlie? I woke up with Candi sleeping beside me and no coffee."
Chibs shrugged as he sipped his own coffee, hiding his grin. "I dinnae know, Tigger. I 'aven't seen the lass this mornin'."
Tig grumbled under his breath before slamming his coffee cup down on the bar. "Maybe she's in the office."
As Tig strode out of the clubhouse, Happy spoke up from beside Chibs. "This should be interesting."
Chibs snorted and nodded. "Aye, tha' it will be, brother."
Gemma looked up when the office door opened, admitting a disgruntled looking Tig. "Where's Charlie?"
She sat back in her chair and eyed the SAA standing in front of her with his hands on his hips. "Good morning to you too, sunshine." She put her glasses on and picked up her pen. "She's on vacation."
Tig stared at her in surprise for a moment before shaking her head. "She's what now? For how long?"
Gemma hid her grin. "Two weeks."
Tig muttered something under his breath before sighing and shaking his head. "Fine. Give me her number and address so I can go check on her."
Gemma shook her head and grinned. "That's not necessary. She's fine."
Tig stood there, engaged in a staring contest with the SAMCRO matriarch for several minutes before he finally shook his head and turned to go. "Fine. Whatever."
