I walked to the training grounds, with a possible intention in mind. Katara and Aang followed behind me, excited. "Pakku!" I called, causing his stream of water to splash on the ground. "No, please interrupt. I wasn't concentrating or anything," he mumbled.
"As I said, Katara cannot learn Combat. She is to learn healing with the other women," Pakku said, once noticing Katara. "And I told you, if you didn't accept to teach her, I'd fight you. Looks like you didn't heed my warning," I said.
"I am a Water Bending Master, I do not need to concern myself with a Novice such as yourself," Pakku defended. Aang and Katara cautiously moved away, warily watching me. I slowly grinned.
"Seems I need to teach you manners, and respect. Drop you ego down a few pegs," I said, stretching my limbs. "You don't scare me boy," Pakku said, unconcerned.
Just as he said that, Thunder sounded in the cloudless sky. Pakku, along with many of the citizens, looked up. Storm clouds started forming from nothing, and began generating large bolts of Electric Blue Lighting in them. The ground shook violently, lasting 5 seconds, and stopping for another 5.
Snow flakes started rising off the ground, and water from the sea and canals started rising off the sea floor. The air condensed into mini shards of ice. My eyes were swirling whirlpools of Sea Green, and my skin actually glowed a bit with Golden Light.
"What do you say, Pakku? Afraid of a little novice? I thought you were a Master!" I called, my voice echoing, or coming from everywhere. Pakku collapsed on his knees. "I admit defeat. You are more powerful than any master I've seen," Pakku said.
Lightning struck, hitting me on the head and shoulders. I barely felt it, as the electricity flowed around my body. Pakku became even more afraid. "You win, Katara can learn Combat," Pakku called. In a literal second, everything was back to normal.
"Good. Katara, Aang. Don't be late to class, now," I called. They nodded fearfully, and scurried off to class, Pakku warily following them, watching me in terror. "Don't hold back. They may be kids, but don't treat as only that," I called, and walked away, whistling.
Unbeknownst to me, hundreds of Fire Nation Ships sat outside our range of sight, watching us. "He is powerful indeed. I can see why you are fearful of him," Commander Zhao said, his voice wavering a bit.
"What do you propose?" General Iroh asked. "...I do not know. If he's this powerful in broad daylight, I can't imagine what he would be like under the upcoming Full Moon," Zhao answered. "We should leave, from what you tell me, he has extreme control of the sea, and is immune to our abilities. We cannot take him, not like this. We will inform the Fire Lord of this, and hopefully, avoid his radar."
"A wise plan of action. Someone whom the Avatar fears in power. The Fire Lord needs this information. I would like to tell him personally, so we can get out of the danger zone," Iroh said. "Understood. Give the order, we are retreating to the Fire Nation," Zhao ordered. This...is not good.
I know, short chapter. But, it makes sense to end here. See you in the next one.
