we got up and got ready for the day. i wore the same black skirt and white button up as yesterday because i didnt want to go back to the slytherin common room. cedric gave me a pale yellow crewneck hoodie to wear on top. i put the collar from my polo on top of the hoodie. i put my hair up in a messy bun and didnt wear makeup. we went to the main hall and ate breakfast. "did you figure out the clue yet?" i asked remembing that the second task was tomorrow. "yes i did. its mermaids. in the black lake." i nodded and ate my blueberry muffin. we went to the library to "study";) jk we went to actually study. we bumped into the golden trio while we were there so we all hung out. it was getting late so we packed up to leave when mr moody came in. "you three need to go to prof mcgonagalls office immediatley. we all got up to go "not you two, just them.' moody said, pointing to me ron and hermione. we looked concerned but went to her office. "hello, i suppose youre wondering why i called you in here. you guys are the most important people to a different champion." i blushed hearing that. and just as she said that she put us under a curse.

i woke up the next day to get ready for the second task. i was worried about y/n but i had to take my mind of of that. i was going to use the bubblehead charm to retrieve whatever it was i needed to. i put on my swim stuff and went to the boat that will take us to the black lake. once we got there we were announced, and then thecannon went off or us to go. i dove in the water and started swimming. it had been a while when i saw something.. or someone.. connected to a chain at the bottom of the lakw\e?? i swam down and saw y/ns beautiful face. "bombarda"i pointed my wand to the chain and it exploded. i pulled y/n up to the surface. thank god she was okay. "cedric!' she yelled as i helped her swim to the platformm. we got wrapped up in towels while we waited for everyone else to finish. once everyone was done, dumbledor was going to announce the winner. y/n grabbed my hand as the suspence kicked in. "the winner is.. CEDRIC DIGGORY" YE! i yelled. 'YES CED!!" y/n yelled. while all eyes were on me, i pulled her into a kiss. to make sure everyone knew she was mine.
