Killua just stared at me, speechless. Crap, did I make a mistake? Maybe it was better as friends after all...
"I-" Killua got cut off by his phone ringing.
"Sorry, I just gotta take this real quick." He hesitated for a moment, but then rushed behind the school building to take the call.
As he turned the corner, my heart sank.
Stupid phone call! Why now?! ...whatever, I guess it doesn't matter. I'll just go find Yua and tell her he had to go.

After 5 minutes of searching, I finally found Yua.
"Heyyyyy!~" She smirked. I really wasn't in the mood.
"He had to take a phone call." I quietly said, faking a smile.
"You're joking, right?" Her smirk quickly formed into a frown. "That idiot! What type of phone call is more important than your best friend, especially when they're telling you something important!" Yua rambled on, rolling her eyes and placing her hands on her hips.
"Calm down, Yua! It's not like it's illegal to answer a phone call. Maybe I'll just see if he texts me about it later...?"
"I suppose you could do that. Hey, It'll be alright! I can guarantee he will say yes." She playfully nudged my shoulder.
I Hope so.

Finally, I arrived home. I haven't heard from Kil since he went to go take the call, and I'm starting to get worried. Usually he would always call me as soon as we got home and we would play video games together. I'd always win. But that's besides the point!
'Maybe I should call him? Yeah, I'll do that.' I thought to myself, grabbing my phone and dialing in his number.
It rang.
And rang.
And rang.
Then it went to voicemail.
At first I thought it was nothing. But after 7 more tries, he still didn't pick up. Killua would never even let his phone battery go below 40 percent, so it couldn't be dead. Where was he? Why wasn't he picking up? I texted Yua to see if she had heard from him.

I threw my phone onto my bed and sighed. Maybe he'll be alright tomorrow! Probably having a bad day or something. Yeah, that's it!
Now that that's sorted, I can go enjoy myself with Yua.

I saw Yua across the road and waved her over.
"Hey girlie! What do you wanna do first? We can go get food, do shopping....OMG, want boba?" Yua squealed. She loves the mall.
"Alright, let's go get boba!" I grinned, running after her as we entered the mall.

We plonked down into a booth with our peach and strawberry boba. Yua kind of got carried away, so we ended up going shopping before getting the drinks.
"Whew! Who knew shopping could be so tiring?" Yua sunk down into her seat, inhaling and exhaling rather loudly.
"You always get way too worked up." I sweatdropped, sipping my boba.
"Oh, shush! You know you love it too!"
"I never said I didn't!"
"Whatever, Y/N! ...hey, do you think these sunglasses will look good on me?" Yua questioned, grabbing some sunglasses out of a shopping bag.
We broke out into laughter and I nearly choked on a tapioca pearl.
Wow, I haven't felt this happy in a long time. I need to do this more often!

It was the end of the day. I said my goodbyes to Yua and headed back home.
"Hey auntie!" I chirped, walking through the door.
"Y/N! Where was you? I was worried sick!" My aunt stood up from her chair, greeting me into a hug.
"Oh, right! I went to the mall with Yua. Sorry, I forgot to text and my phone has been turned off!"
I gasped. My aunt worries far too much, which is why I was so concerned.
"I understand, dear. As long as you are safe, that's all what matters!" She smiled.
I ran up to my bedroom and played some of my favourite songs. I was scared my aunt would hear me, so I sang in my head.
Oh, I need to thank Yua for buying the drinks!
I crawled over to my bag, took my phone out and switched it on. I was about to text Yua and thank her, but then suddenly millions of texts from Yua came through. All along the lines of:
