A week and a half since the kiss on the beach, this is the first time Luke and Alex have been able to hang out alone for anytime longer than a few minutes before Reggie and/or Bobby met up with them. That combined with the fact that Alex's parents have gotten a little more suspicious lately that somethings going on involving Luke, Alex has had to tiptoe around them.

The two haven't really been able to fully talk about that night, so neither of them know what to exactly call their little relationship. They know they're clearly into each other and love just being with each other, but they're both hesitant when it comes to discussing some label. But, tonight, they finally get to spend some time together, just the two of them. With no band rehearsal tonight, the studio would be vacant. So, Alex and Luke made plans to meet up there at 5 to see each other and enjoy each other's company.

Luke is walking up to the garage doors. He can hear Alex already inside, playing away at his drums; those same butterflies he often gets beginning to stir as he thinks about the boy. He stands outside the doors for a moment, listening to Alex and thinking back to the night on the beach. The way they lost their balance from where they sat and fell back onto the sand, laughter inserting itself into the kiss as Luke had to hold himself up above Alex.

Suddenly, Luke hears the sound of a drumstick falling to the floor and a quick, "oh, dang it" from Alex, pulling him out of his thoughts. He shakes his head a little to bring himself back to reality, then pushes the doors open. Alex notices the movement, quickly swiveling a little on his stool to face Luke.

"Hey." Alex says with a nod of his head. Luke nods back, "Hey," Luke throws his bag on the couch, "What were you playing?" he asks. Alex looks between the drums and Luke, "oh, nothing, just whatever came to mind." he answers. Luke begins to cross the room, walking over to Alex, "Oh. It sounded cool." Luke stands directly in front of the drum kit and looks at Alex, putting his hands in his pockets.

"Ssoooo..." he says, biting his lip. Alex sets down the drumstick in his hand and returns a small smile and a, "So." Luke takes a deep breath, then says, "That night at the beach..." he begins. Alex looks down and scratches the back of his head, "Yeah, we, uh... we should probably, uhm, actually talk about that." he says with a light laugh to try to ease the tension within himself.

Luke picks up on Alex's physical cues, able to see that he is becoming anxious. He slowly walks over to stand behind where Alex sits on the stool and hugs him from behind, wrapping his arms around the boy's shoulders.

"Y'know, we don't have to talk about anything if you don't want to." Luke says. Alex releases a breath he was holding and lets his head rest on Luke's shoulder behind him. "Thanks." Alex quietly says back. "It's just that... I like what we have... whatever it is we have... what we had that night." Alex trails off.

"Me too." Luke says, "So, as long as we know we feel the same, we don't have to talk about it anymore."

Alex lifts his hand to grab Luke's hand on his shoulder, holding it. After a quick beat of silence, Luke speaks up again. "We could, uh... just, uh... do it again? Y'know, if you want to." he says with a small hint of mischief in his words. Alex picks his head up a little at this, a small blush beginning to rosy his cheeks.

Alex clears his throat, "I mean... y-yea, if, uh... I-I want to if, uh, if you... uh... you... want to." he finally stammers out. Luke smiles at the boy's flustered state and turns his head towards him. He pulls Alex's face to his by putting his finger on the boy's chin, and connects their lips. Alex's nerves leave as he kisses back and moves his hand to the back of Luke's head.

They pull away after a moment, looking at each other. Luke has a smile on his face as he stares back at Alex. Alex furrows his brows slightly, scratches Luke's head a little and jokingly says, "I think you still have sand in your hair." Luke's smile only grows as he responds, "Shut up, you dork." He reconnects their lips for a second, giving Alex a peck kiss.
