Florence quietly padded through her village. She never thought she would miss this place. She silently made her way into the cave where she and talon lived and crept in. "Maybe I can just leave a note or something.." But then she heard rustling. "Florence?" His sleepy voice called out "Where have you been?..." her eyes widened "Um..well. I- I HAVE TO LEAVE TALON." Talon sat up, "Where...? What do you mean?" He said. Florence looked down at the cave floor, "Talon I'm leaving the village...I'm going exploring..." Talon got out of bed "For how long and with who? you can't go by yourself." Florence sighed. "Talon, I'm leaving the village for well...forever." She whispered. Talon straightened himself up "You didn't answer my other question Florence, with WHO?" Florence tried to catch her breath, "With someone else...Talon, I'm sorry but I'm seeing someone else. And I'm not exactly in love with you..." Talon gasped for breath "Florence w-what do you mean? WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE CUBS, RAISE A FAMILY, GROW OLD TOGETHER!" he screamed. "Talon! I thought you knew! I'm not exactly lovey! TALON, YOU IDIOT, I haven't even HUGGED YOU...or KISSED you" she said, her voice falling quietly on the last note. Talon started to sob "I loved you Florence ...I LOVE YOU.!...I always have". he tried to rush over to Florence and kiss her but she turned away. "I'm sorry Talon, I really am. But I can't do this. I love someone else." Florence ran out of the cave with her small amount of things and tried not to hear Talon calling after her, "I'M REPORTING YOU FLORENCE! I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!!!" Talon finished that sentence with a rambling line of swears. Florence squeezed her eyes shut and ran to her mother's cave. She wrote a note and put it by the entrance and tried to stop the tears from flowing from her eyes. She was surprised she even had any tears left after all that had happened today. "I'm sorry..." She mewed. And ran out of the cave not looking back.
