Snapes Daughter (The Lost Book One)

Whats going on?

The rest of the night Anna had that question rolling around in her head 'why did the hat call me a Snape' after the sorting Severus took Annas' hand and led her to the grand hall. Anna sat right next to Severus at the head table but before Anna sat down she spotted Draco Anna let go of Snapes' hand and ran to Draco. Anna ran as fast as her little legs could take her and ran up to Draco with a hug but something wasn't right Draco pushed Anna off of him and let her fall to the ground.

"What do you want Anna!" Draco said as he looked at Anna on the floor Anna just looked at Draco why was Draco being so mean.

"I just missed you Draco whats the matter are you upset did I do something wrong?" Anna said in the most hurt voice she was on the verge of tears but no she couldn't cry infornt of Draco. Anna stood up and Draco looked down at her like she was the worst thing in the world.

"Ya being here I thought Snape would have sent you to some boarding school clearly no one wants a little brat like you!" Draco words hurt Anna like a knife was being stabbed through her heart anna was crying at this point and Draco just walked away with his friends. Anna just stood there thinking. 'What did I do Draco always loved me he always protected me he was the only one who was nice to me what happened maybe he's right no one wants me me I'm just a freak'

Severus must have seen the whole thing because as soon as Anna was about to run out the door to cry but Snape ran up to her and grabbed her and pulled her into a hug Snape didn't care if he was doing this infont of everyone Draco was a cruel boy and not even Anna deserved to be treated like that it reminded him of himself when he was a kid potter and his gang always saying cruel things and embarrassing him infont of the whole school that was the last thing he wanted Anna to go through.

"Anna don't listen to him he has no idea what hes talking about you know for a fact that i want you don't listen to that insolent boy he has no idea what he is talking about" Snape said as he picked Anna up and carried her over to the head table Anna didn't say a word the rest off the night at dinner she hardly ate anything and she didn't say anything.

Snapes pov 

I can't believe that boy hurting my little girl like that how dare he because of him Anna has not ate anything or said anything all she has done all night is either cry or be quiet as a mouse after dinner I carried Anna back to my chambers and set her down on the couch she looked so hurt i have to tell her she has to know someone wants her it might hurt more but Dumbeldoor told me to tell her as soon as possible but how do I tell her what if she starts asking questions of why I did it I went to the kitchen and pored her a glass of water and sat next to her. 

Thierd person

"Anna I think there is something you should know" Severus said as he sat next to Anna and handed her a glass of water.

"If it's that Draco hates me then I don't want to hear it I already know" Anna said as she drank her water then set it on the coffee table.

"No it's nothing like that I'm not here to talk about Draco. Anna there is something you need to know and I don't know to tell you it for I am not good with children but this you should know and should have known a very long time ago." Snape said as he placed Anna on his lap.

"Ok" Anna said in nothing more then a whisper

"Anna the Malfoys are not your real parents have you not noticed that you look nothing like them" Severus said as calm as he could.

"Why yes I have noticed but I didn't think much of it that would explain why my fath- Lucius hates me and why Draco hates me but then who are my real parents sir" Anna looked so Innocent and right now she would probably hate him but he had to tell her on Dumbeldoors orders.

"Your mother was Lily Evens and I-Anna I am your father I'm so sorry i didn't tell you sooner" Anna looked up at Severus with nothing but hurt in her eyes.

"W-why did you give me to the M-Malfoys then do even know what they did to me!" Anna looked so hurt and she was sobbing and screaming. Anna pulled out of Severus lap and fell to the floor but got up quickly.

"Anna let me explain! the only reason I gave you to the Malfoys was because of the Dark Lord when you were born there were rummers going around that he was coming back I didn't want you to get hurt I did it for you own safety and I had no idea how to raise a child do you think I wanted to give you up like I did!" Severus was standing up yelling at this point it scared Anna a bit but she didn't show it she just looked at the floor.

"No I don't think you wanted to give me up but what does the dark lord have to do with me he already knows who I am I meet him last year at a meeting that Lucius made me go to" Anna was looking at Severus dead in the eyes Severus for the first time looked scared beyond belief.

"What are you talking about you have already meet him are you trying to tell me that Lucius took you to a meeting was Draco there too" Severus looked scared he was standing over Anna and was scared to at this point.

"Yes Draco was there he was getting the dark mark Lucius said once I was 14 I would get one too I told him no that I didn't want to join the Dark Lord and he well punished me for it it was the worst beating I ever got" Anna looked down at the floor and all of a sudden Severus was holding Anna is his arms Anna tried to out but his grip was too tight so she gave up.

Anna I am so sorry I was not there to protect you and I promise I will never let anything ever happen to you aging" Severus was for the first that Anna had ever seen him crying Severus was holding Anna like he was about to loss her. All Anna did was hug him back and cry herself Severus picked Anna up aging and sat her on the couch aging and he did the same Severus stoped crying and just held Anna close. After about an hour Anna had stooped cyring and was laying her head on her fathers chest Severus held his arm tight around her and they both watched the warm fire place. Anna's stomach rumbled and she held her stomach but didn't say a word.

"Anna are you hungray?" Severus ask anna as he petted annas long brown hair.

"Yes sir" Anna replied it felt weird to Anna she didn't know what to call him anymore should she call him sir or Severus or Professor Snape Anna didn't know but it was like he could read Anna's mind because of what he said next.

"Anna you don't have to call me sir if you want you may call me Father if you wish" Severus said as he pulled out his wand and made a plate of  food and some hot chocolate fly into the living room.

"Yes Father" Anna said as she picked up one of the delicious food and hot chocolate and Severus did the same. they ate in silence the rest of the night until Anna fell asleep on the couch with her Father. Severus waved his wand aging and appeared too blankets he throw one over Anna and him self .

'I love you Anna and I will never let anything harm you aging' Severus placed a small kiss on Anna's forhead and fell asleep.
