Punishment

Anna woke up the next day and did her daily routine, get dressed brush hair and teethe and eat Anna put on a long sleeve emerald green dress and ballet flats and walked down stairs. When Anna was in the sitting room reading Advanced potions making her father came in and sat next to her pulling her into his lap.

"looks like you will be a potions master before your first year at this rate" Severus chuckled and Anna giggled still reading as her father stroked her brown hair.  They stayed like this for awhile just making simple chit chat. Severus got up when he heard the sound of the kettle, he pulled the kettle off the oven and was about to pour a cup but then he heard Anna scream.

"AAHHHHHHH" Severus drooped his cup and ran in the sitting room Anna was on the floor clutching her arm to her chest crying. Then Severus felt the dark mark on his arm burn and he knew they had to go. Severus picked up Anna and held her close petting her hair and saying soothing things to her. Severus grabbed his wand and apperated.

Severus arrived at Malfoy manner were the dark lord had been in hiding and as soon as they got there the pain in Severus and Anna's arm vanished. Anna gasped and rested her head on Severus's's shoulder.

"Daddy whats happening why are we here?" Severus did not answer he put Anna down grabbed her by her shoulders and got to her eyes level.

"Anna I want you to listen to me very carefully, I don't know for sure but I think this is about you going against the dark lord, when you go in there you will only speak unless spoken too you will call him lord at all times and you will do what ever he asks of you, You will keep your head down unless told to make eye contact, You can not cry it will only make things worse and if something happens to me you do NOT anything do you understand?" Anna listened to every word this was her fault she knew she was going to be punished. Anna nodded her head.

"Yes daddy I-i understand" Anna looked at her feet, Severus pulled her into a hug.

"I love you Anna" Anna felt a tear on her dress then she knew her father was scared too he knew. Anna buried her face into his cloak and silently cried.

"I love you too daddy"

Severus pulled away and took Anna's hand, both wiping away there tears.

"Remember what I told you" Anna nodded and Severus's hold on her hand tightened as they walked in. The Dark Lord was sitting on a big chair in the middle of the room glaring at Anna as she walked in.

"Ah Severus I see you got my call" Severus nodded, the dark lord walked over to Severus and Anna. The dark lord was an inch away from Anna her grabbed her face making her look at him. Severus let go of Anna's hand. The dark lord looked into Anna's eyes and all of a sudden he let go of her face and slapped her as hard as he could making Anna fall to the ground in a heap, Anna said nothing and just held her hand to her cheek.

"Don't think you can EVER deify me and get away with it you insolent child!" The dark lord grabbed Anna by her hair making her stand then throwing her to the middle of the room. He took out his wand and Severus felt his heart drop he knew what was coming and when it did he could do nothing.

"Crucio!" Anna fell again and started twitching on the ground screaming and crying it hurt 10 times of what Lucius had done to her. The Dark lord continued for an hour torturing her hitting her and using the unforgivable curse on her until all she did was lie limp on the floor breathing heavy. Anna looked at her father he had done nothing but she knew he couldn't do anything.

"I think your daughter has learned her place now Severus you may leave but if this happens again I will not be forgiving of her" Severus nodded

"Yes my lord, I can promise you though this will never happen again" The dark lord nodded. Severus went over to Anna and picked her up Anna looked at her father and let tears fall down her pale cheeks before passing out from pain. Severus apperate home and put Anna in her night cloths and layed her in her bed Anna opened her eyes but she said nothing she was still to weak. Severus was about to get up and let her rest but when he went to get up Anna grabbed his hand and said one word.

"Stay" Severus looked at Anna and put some stray hair behind her ear.

"Of course" Severus took out his want and got some Pj's and sat next to Anna in her bed as she drifted off the sleep.
