Pagbukas na pagbukas ng office ko halos mapatalon ako sa pwesto ko dahil sa tao sa loob. Peste, ang aga naman ata pumasok nitong babaeng ito? Dapat pala nagrequest din ako ng personal office ko kay Akira tsk!
"Goodmorning din sayo." Bati niya ng di nakatingin sa akin, tinapunan niya ako ng tingin sabay balik din sa records ang tingin niya.
"Hindi ako sanay na ikaw nauuna." Sabi ko, ibinaba ko ang shoulder bag ko at umupo sa swivel chair ko.
"Musta ka?" Napairap ako sa tanong niya, natawa siya sa naging reaction ko. "Halatang walang tulog ahh.." tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.
"hindi naman malaki eye bags ko noh?" Taas kilay na tanong ko sa kanya sabay irap sa kawalan.
"Anyways, gusto mo makipag blind date? May kilala ako." Alok niya sa akin, kinuha ko ang white gown ko tsaka isinuot iyon.
"No thanks."
"Ayaw mo? Pogi siya beh, try mo lang naman." Ang kulit! I look at her and stare at her. Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay habang naghihintay ng sagot ko.
"Makulit ka? ayoko nga, pasabi nalang if willing siya makipag fling okay lang." sabi ko tsaka inayos dumiretso sa pinto.
"Sure ka? sige papayag to panigurado." Sabi niya, napailing ako. Lumabas na ako at iniwan siya sa loob. I have a conference today for my upcoming surgery.

"So.... we can do it right?"
I look at the records and the monitor.
"This is not your first time operating this kind of condition right?" I ask him while looking at the record.
"I already assist 4 times doc," he responded. This is not a that serious condition, he might as well lead the surgery for the experience.
"I see, please observe the patient's condition, also I'll allow you to lead this surgery and I'll assist. Remember, I'll assist and you'll do the rest." I said, I look at him coldly.
"You can do it," I assure him.
"That's all, meeting adjourn." Pagtatapos ko, tumayo na ako tsaka lumabas ng conference room. I look at my watch cause I am already hungry. Kaunti lang kase ang nakain ko kaninang breakfast, ang panget ng umaga ko ngayon.
I ordered lasagna and milk, my usual order. But sometimes I ordered chocolate cause my friends are buying it. I'm craving some milktea kailan kaya ulit ako makakainom nun? I fished my phone out of my pocket to see whose calling and when I saw who is it I answered.
"Hello?..... yeah, got it......... I'll call them right away." I ended the call and dialed a number, I just got a notification that we already have a liver donor. I called the guardian of the patient who'll receive the liver.
"Yes, doc?"
"Just wanna tell you that your mom already has a liver donor. And I am asking to confine her here in the hospital until the date of the surgery." I said, tumahimik ang nasa kabilang linya at maya maya pa nakarinig na ako ng singhot. Uhh, he's crying but I understand.
"Thank...... you po doc." Sabi ng kabilang linya, I stop walking and talk.
"No problem sir. I'll see you here then." I said, he said yes so I ended up the call. I needed rest but I got a call from the ER and I need to go there.
Nabangga ako sa lalaking hindi ko malaman kung bato ba ang katawan o ano. Bakit ba lagi nalang ako nababangga?
"Sorry.." we both said but his voice was familiar. Parang dejavu na hindi ko maintindihan, I look at the person that i got bumped into.
"Ikaw nanaman?" Sabi ko, irita na ang mukha ko ngayon. Kung kailan ayaw ko na siya makita tsaka ko naman siya nakita.
"Oh.... hello Ms. Lopez." Inirapan ko siya, bakit ba pakalat kalat to sa loob ng hospital? He's not even a doctor!
"Could you please stay away from the ER if you're not gonna do something?" Inis na sabi ko sa kanya, paharang harang nakakaconsume lang siya ng time.
"Oh... is it my fault?" I look at him coldly.
"Nakakaharang ka sa daan, you'll just consume time for every one. If you'll excuse me." I said and walked to the two interns in charge of the ER and ask them about the patient's condition.
May nagassist na din sa aking resident, I gave them order qt papalit palit ng bed ang ginawa ko. I am taking a turn from one patient to another, double time. We have so many patients that are coming to the ER, what's even happening today? Well, I don't know I just gonna do my work.
"Please book an OR, Dr. Reyes gets consent from her relatives." I said, they nodded and said 'yes doc' simultaneously.
Oh God, I want to end this day already. It's so hectic, why is it so many patients today? May aksidente ba? Tsk! Well I am working in the hospital, talagang maraming pastenteng dumadating kahit dati pa but this day is different i/t's like the last time that we once have the bus accident tsk!
"Ali, can you look at him for me? I have surgery." I said, nodded at me, and take my position a while ago, I make a run to the OR and disinfect my hands. I look at the CT scan and observe it, I then look at the anesthesiologist. He gave me a go signal so I look at the clock and started the operation.
We just did a laparoscopic surgery kaya hindi din nagtagal ang operation, after the operation, I got back to the ER and check the other patients. Most of them have a minor injury so I just stitch them up and check if there are other infections. Thank god they don't.
Tinanggal ko ang gloves ko tsaka ito itinapon sa trash bin. I lean at the nurse counter and rest ther for a bit.
"Tired?" I look at the person who talked. Andito pa pala ito? Akala ko umalis na siya.
"Why do you care?" Tanong ko, naramdaman ko ang malamig niyang tingin sa akin.
"Well just wanna." Inirapan ko siya sa sagot niya. "Want some?" alok niya sakin ng milktea dark chocolate flavor, tinignan ko siya sa mata
"What do you want?" tanong ko.
"Wala nga." tinignan ko siya ng nagdududa.
"Seriously, Dra. Lopez, I don't have any business with you. I am just fooling around." he said assuring me.
"Good, anyway thanks." sabi ko tsaka tinanggap yung alok niya, I can't say no to milktea.
"Anyway, pansin ko lang why are you always here?" tanong ko, i know na natanong ko na siya nung una but i can't accept that answer. "And please don't answer like last time, my friend told me you're single." pinangunahan ko na bago pa siya magloko ulit.
"Wow, feisty." tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.
"My sister's sick, and both our parents were overseas. That's why I'm here, I'm basically a guardian." okay? that's why, but doesn't he have work.
"Please excuse me, I have a brother duty. My little devil sister was calling." He said excising himself. I look at his back as I sip to my milktea, he has a good built is he working out? Just imagining his muscles make me blush pano pa kaya if his sweating?
I remember touching those abs while his kissing me that time.
Wait what? Oh my gosh! What did I remember? Binalik ko ang tingin sa direction na tinahak niya kanina.
I admit he's a good brother, he sometimes good at talking but I don't want his attitude sometimes. He seems rude but not, mahangin, mataas ang tingin sa sarili, those cold eyes and a hot body.
