Athena's POV///
The girls were gone now and I was gonna where the same outfit anyways. Aaron should be picking me up in 1 hour.
But suddenly I heard the door bell ring. Weird. Is he early I thought to myself? I opened the door to see vinnie. "Come in I guess" I said. Vinnie came in and sat on the sofa. "I miss living here" he quietly spoke. "Ok but why are you here right now I have plans with Aaron" I talked back to him. "You have plans with him" he clenched his fists and jaw. "Yea but thats not the point why are you here" I asked again slightly annoyed. "I was gonna pick you up and make it up to you today to suprise you" he answered. "Well your gonna have to cancel since me and Aaron made plans" I said. "Sorry" I whispered softly. I could see him getting mad. And hurt? He almost looked like he was gonna cry. I suddenly felt bad for him. Jesus I have to be more strong sometimes. "What can I do to make it up to you" I asked.
"Let me move in with you again" he joked. "Actually you can move back in since I literally kicked you out last time. But this time you have to share the bills with me" I surprisingly said. "Didn't expect you to say yes but I'll take it" he smiled brightly. "Ok now get out and get your stuff I'll give you a key" I chuckled.
I got the key and gave it to him and shoed him out. Once he was out the door he said, "Thank you so much I can't believe your letting me stay with you after everything I'll seriously make it up to you" he pulled me into a hug. "Ok your welcome now get out" I laughed.
He left and I closed the door. I was about to sit down until the doorbell rang again. What nowww. I opened the door slightly annoyed but once I saw it was aaron I immediately smiled. "Hey you dont look to happy to see me" he spoke. "No I just didn't except you, right now." I said. "Well let's go then" he said while pulling at my arm. We walked to his car and he opened the door for me. "What a gentleman" I teased. "Anything for you ma'lady" he playfully said. He started the car and drove off.

"Woah this is so cool" I said amazed as I looked at the view and table with our lunch on it. We were on top of a really tall building that we were gonna eat lunch at. "Thank you I set it up yesterday. We can also watch the sunset after we eat while listening to music" he beemed at me. "Thank you for all of this you didn't have to do this." I said. "Well you can repay me by letting me take you out on a date." he teased. "Thats all then, deal." I answered. "One more thing you owe me a kiss." He added jokingly. "We'll see" I teased.
We sat down on the little table for two and started eating. I looked at the view for a moment realizing how beautiful it was. The light from all the buildings. The sun shining brightly. It was amazing. We made some small talk while we ate. When we finished it was time to watch the sunset.
He laid a blanket close to the edge but not to close. He grabbed the speaker and put on some vibey songs. We sat on the blanket cuddled up. The sun was an orange color. And the sky was absolutely beautiful. "The view is amazing thank you for bringing me up here." I told him. "No problem and by the way your face is a beautiful view too" he smiled. "Your so cheesy" I laughed. I was looking up at him and I got butterflies but it wasn't the same with vinnie. I'm probably just overthinking I thought. He started leaning in and I did too. Then our lips connected.
It felt like magic. I felt amazing like nothing was holding me back. Our lips moved together insync. His lips were soft they tasted like vanilla chapstick. Our tongues dancing together like a fit puzzle piece. We pulled away after 20 seconds of kissing since we were out of breath. "That was beautiful" we said together.
"I like you alot" he said. "I like you alot too." I spoke. But it didn't feel real. I didnt feel those amazing sparks. But yes I felt butterflies. But nothing compared to Vinnie's butterflies, kisses, or hugs. "So why don't we actually enjoy the sunset now." he said. "Yea I'd enjoy that." I laughed. "Thank you for all of this and making me feel better about everything." I said softly. "Of course anything for you beautiful." He beemed at me.
We continued to watch the sunset until the stars started to fill the sky. And the moon started to come in.
