CHAPTER XIV/// STARGAZING

(this is kinda like the second part of there date)

Athena's POV///

Its been a few minutes since the magical kiss with vinnie happened. We were under the night sky watching the bright stars that filled the sky. We had one of the most perfect spot for stargazing. I've always loved space and stars. I was always so fascinated by the universe. Everything is so interesting. You learn from everything and everyone. There's always room for something new. You have to make mistakes to lead the new chapter and end the last one.

Even though its been silent after the kiss and you might think it was awkward, it was quite the opposite from that. I was comfortable in his arms. We were layed back in the tent with blankets under us and pillows surrounding us. He was holding me tightly as I layed against him, chest to chest. My head resting in his shoulder. He held me like I was one of the most important things in the world. Or this fragile rose that its petals could fall apart at any moment.

I was admiring the starts and how brightly they shined. While random thoughts flowed in my head. What if I died? Atleast I spent it with the person I truly am inlove with. What if I never got to see this and died? Well i did because of this man named Vincent. My life would feel incomplete without this moment without this person I'm sharing my moments with.

While I was deep into my thoughts gazing at the stars vinnie spoke up, "I'm sorry for all the hurt I caused you, when I gave you that ring as a symbol of my love and as a promise to never hurt you I truly meant it, I love you from the bottom of my heart and I will never forgive myself for breaking that promise. You were the only person there for me when everyone turned their backs on me you were the only person who truly loved me and stuck with me yet I chose to break and hurt you, but even though I don't deserve you and I'm not worthy of your love but I'll continue fighting for you and what we have because you'll always be my number 1 because you'll always be the one to be there when I need someone because your the only one who can truly help me through everything because you'll always be my happiness, your my everything. So if you would let me be your happiness please where the ring again and give me a second chance."

I sat there with a blurry vision my eyes stinging from the salty tears about to drop. I blinked quickly a few times and looked at vinnie as a few teardrops fell. I pulled him in for a kiss. It was short yet it made me feel all kinds of things no one would be able to make me feel. It felt like a rush of adrenaline. It gave me peace and taste of everything from sweet to bitter from spice to salty. I pulled away and answered, "You'll always be my number 1 too vinnie."

I smiled at him while he looked at me and softly kissed me forhead. "Athena I will never hurt you again I promise I wouldn't trade you for anyone else in this world, I love you with all I've got and I will never stop loving you, my love."
Vinnie poured out to me.

"I love you with all I've got too, evrytime someone asks me who I see myself with in the future it'll always be you I'll always want you by my side. You are the only person out there for me. Your perfect for me vinnie. I love you." I finished.

We looked at each other smiling for a few second until we teared our gaze away from each other. We pulled each other closer than before and watched the stars while I felt his hot breath on my cheek all the way to my neck. Everything I said was true. He'll always be the one for me. No matter how different we are we'll always be each others number one, I hope. We may be different but thats what makes us right for each other, we bring out the best in each other. We'll always be our best when were around each other. There may be some rough storms we'll have to sail through along the way but thats what this is all about, new begginins and endings. We'll learn from our mistakes and get through amazing adventures together.

I live you Vincent Cole Hacker with everything I've got.

Those words may seem broken at times but we have chapters, adventures, and episodes to finish to continue to the next episode.

Sorry for not updating in 2 weeks but I was really thinking about where I wanted this book to go. I don't know if I should end it here or continue and stir something up maybe have an alternative ending instead. Let me know if you guys want me to continue it. xoxo🦋
