"I can buy that for you if you'd like."
I blinked a few times before it fully sunk in that this really attractive but intimidating guy was talking to me. Not just any guy. Jagger Maxwell.
"Oh! No, it's okay! I'm fine," I said, giving him a small smile.
"Don't worry, I can get it for free," he said, picking up the bracelet and placing it carefully around my wrist.
Jagger gave the man behind the booth a look, causing him to just nod at me and look down.
I must have looked shocked at how he got it for so much cheaper because the boy let out a chuckle.
"I'm a really important member of the club, so I can get most things for free so again, don't worry about the bracelet," he said.
"W-well thank you! Thank you a lot!" I said, smiling at the bracelet and then him.
He smiled back before speaking again.
"Speaking of being able to get things for free, can I treat you to a drink?" He asked, staring deeply at me with his mismatched eyes with drew me in.
"Oh, I actually came with some friends and they're getting drinks for us right now," I said, going onto my tiptoes and trying to see the bar over the crowd.
Jagger set his index finger under my chin and turned my attention back to him.
"The bar is really busy right now, they're going to be a little while. Let me treat you to a drink, it won't take long," he said in a silky voice.
"Uhm.. well ok, but it has to be fast," I said, not wanting to worry Alexander and Raven.
"Of course," Jagger said, "come on, let's go somewhere a little less crowded so we can talk."
He wrapped his pale fingers around my wrist and gently dragged me up the stairs and to the balcony I saw when I first came in.
"Sit, please," he said, letting go of my wrist and motioning towards a plush velvet sofa in front of us.
I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear and fixed my skirt as I took a seat.
"Do you have a certain type of drink you like?" Jagger asked me.
"Oh Uhm, not really. I mean I can't drink alcohol yet, but I like lemonade," I said, feeling like a child right after I said it.
Jagger chuckled.
"Do you?" I asked, trying to quickly move the conversation on.
"Oh, I do. But, I don't think you'd like it very much," he said, his voice lower than before.
He glanced over his shoulder at me, his image looked powerful. The darkness from a hanging curtain covered most of his face, but his bright blue and green eyes shined out through the darkness. It was terrifying. I loved it.
