Jagger handed me a glass before taking a seat on the sofa. He crossed one leg over the other and ran a hand through his hair.
"Take a seat," he said, giving me a small grin.
I sat down next to him, making sure to leave space between us. I may like creepy things but I wasn't in the mood to get kidnapped tonight.
"I really appreciate the drink and the bracelet but I really can't stay long, my friends have probably gotten our drinks and are looking for us," I told Jagger.
Not to mention if I was gone any longer Alexander and Raven would be asking where I had been and I was not about to tell them that I was in a secluded part of a club with the one person they told me to avoid.
"The same friends from the diner?" Jagger asked, cocking one eyebrow.
I froze. So he did recognize me.
He smirked at me, seeing the way I stared at him.
"Did you think I forgot you so soon?" he asked lowly.
"Uhm.." I didn't know what to say. He was no longer smirking and the playful glint in his mismatched eyes was gone. Suddenly he looked scarier. A little to scary. Dangerous even.
"Me and your friend Alexander are acquaintances , so I'm sure you already know I'm Jagger," he said, holding his hand out for a handshake, "and your name is?"
As much as the voice inside me told me not to tell a 'dangerous' stranger my name, I couldn't help it from slipping out once I looked him in the eyes. It was like he was hypnotizing.
"I'm Blake.." I said quietly, shaking his hand.
He wrapped his fingers tighter around my hand, flipping it over so the back was facing him. He pulled it closer to him before pressing his lips against the back of it.
"Pleasure to meet you Blake," he said, looking at me through his bangs with a smirk.
The way he said my name sent chills through my spine.
"I'll let you go so as your friends don't worry too much about you. This club can be dangerous you know. But don't worry, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again soon."
I didn't like the way he said that with so much certainty.
I gave him a small smile to be nice before getting up and setting my glass on the table.
"Right... see you later I guess," I said before quickly heading towards the stairs. I could feel him still watching me, it made me feel squeamish.
"Don't talk to strangers Blake Nox, it won't end well," he said.
I continued walking down the steps before freezing near the bottom, my blood running cold.
"I... I didn't tell you my last name.." I said.
When I didn't get a reply I turned, expecting him to still be standing at the top of the stairs watching me. However he wasn't. He was back to sitting on the couch, drinking whatever was in his glass. All I could see was his back as he ignored me.
I shook my head, pulling my sleeves down to cover my hands before walking back into the crowd of people dancing away and laughing, no idea that they were being watched by a white haired psycho.
I wandered for a bit, looking for my friends before I felt a hand on my shoulder. I flinched back, thinking it was Jagger again but relief washed over me when I saw a relieved looking Alexander.
"There you are!! We've been looking everywhere for you where were you??" He asked, yelling over the speakers that were right next to us.
I took a deep breath, trying to mask my uneasiness, "Sorry! I was looking at the stalls and I went over to the bar and you weren't there anymore."
Technically I wasn't lying, I just left out the middle part..
He nodded, "Its fine, let's go back to Raven."
Alexander led the two of them through a crowd before they finally reached the black haired girl.
He wrapped his arm around her waist as she turned to them.
"You found her! Where were you?" Raven asked, handing me a glass of orange juice.
"Sorry," I laughed, "just got a little lost. This place is bigger than I thought."
Raven nodded, sipping her coke as Alexander chugged the red liquid in his glass.
"It's cool though right?? Do you like it?" She asked.
I nodded with a smile, "It's very interesting."
"Come on, we can go dance and then-" Raven cut herself off after grabbing my wrist.
"When did you get this bracelet?" she asked me, looking down at the new bracelet Jagger gave me that was snuggly fit around my wrist.
"Oh I just bought it at one of those stalls over there! Isn't it cute?" I asked.
After years of faking stomach illnesses to get out of school and coming up with excuses as to why I couldn't turn in my homework, I had gotten pretty good at lying if I do say so myself.
Raven nodded, "Super cute!!"
"C'mon," Alexander said, "there's a spot open on the dance floor over here."
The three of them took to tearing up the dance floor with their atrocious dance moves for the rest of the night. They only left when the sun was about to start rising, in regards to Alexander.
"Let's meet at like ten for breakfast while he sleeps yeah?" Raven asked before they split into their separate rooms.
I nodded, "sounds good, sleep well."
Raven and Alexander headed into their room and I went into my own. I took no time in unlacing and pulling off my combat boots. I changed into a baggy rob zombie t shirt and a pair of shorts before pulling out my hair tie and heading out of the bathroom. I walked over to the window while brushing my teeth but ended up almost choking on the toothpaste in my mouth when I saw a huge bat sitting outside the window.
I waved my hands by the window trying to shoo it away but it didn't budge. Weird, that normally worked with birds. I went back to the bathroom, rinsing out my mouth and putting away my toothbrush.
I walked back out, ready to head across the hall and see if Raven or Alexander knew how to get a bat to move, but when I looked back at the window it was no longer there.
"Creepy. I like it," I muttered to myself before pulling the curtains closed. I slid into bed and passed out almost the second my head hit the pillow.
I expected to have a dreamless sleep like I normally do, but instead dream me was met with a certain white haired boy almost immediately.
