Aia's Point of View

After planning everything on what to do, I decided to go to my room. I need some space for awhile. I still can't believe on what's going on right now. This is too much.

I drop myself on the bed and stared at the blank ceiling. I'm wondering why this is so sudden. If the government knows already about this beforehand, why didn't they act fast? Hundreds of people are infected in minutes, how much more in just a day? That would be thousands here in Santader. In the Cities? Couldn't think much.

Yes, I seldom visit here but I never get the chance to look or even step inside my room since I'm in a hurry and I have some business to take care of.

As I opened the golden glassed closet of mine. I smiled when I found out my old clothes are still here. Well, hindi naman nangingialam si mom ng mga gamit ko but she often throws my old clothes or donate it.

I set aside the clothes and tried to find where the button is. Actually, every room here in the mansion has its own secret rooms. My parents and I only know about this.

I step inside and snap my fingers and the room automatically turn its lights on. Bumungad kaagad saakin ang ilan-ilang baril. These are my own collections. I'm fond of guns since I was still little. It's because I really admire Dad's job. You wouldn't believe me but back then, I almost ignore my parents for a year dahil ayaw nila akong bilhan ng totoong baril. I'm not that spoiled brat but I really want to collect guns.

I walked towards the glassed corridor and opened it. I took out the small wooden chest and placed it on the table. My 18th birthday to be exact. This ain't my first gun collection but this is really important and precious to me. Well, all of my guns means everything to me. Gun is life. Guns are my babies.

"Guess I'll be going to use you."

After packing all the guns inside the bag, I roamed my eyes around the room and I snapped again my fingers and left it.

I tried to bite my self forcely just to know if once they bite me in my arms or shoulders, mapupunit ba or makakagat ba talaga ako. It didn't, good thing the leather's too thick.

Nagsuot narin ako ng militiry jeans at combat boots kagaya nung sinuot ni mom kanina, ang pinagkaiba lang is my jean's more darker so when the night comes parang nagcocomouflage ako sa gabi.

I slinged the two bags in my shoulders and held the gun. Lumabas ako sa walk-in closet ko at dali daling bumalik sa office ni Dad but as I was about to open the door, I heard some strange noises coming from the sala. I didn't bother to check it at pumasok nalang sa loob ng office.

"Guys, I think I just he—"

"Woah woah woah."
"Oh myyyy~"
"My little princess."

My brows furrowed as I saw my mom, dad and the AshHole's reaction. Okay, they're being weird. What's wrong with them?

I just rolled my eyes and drop the bags on the floor.

"I've got a good news and a not so bad news."

"What is it it?"

"Okay so, the good news is we have enough guns and amos. Foods are in my car's apartment. No need to go through the grocery stores since I bought some foods good for a month lately sa pinagtrabahoan ni Ashton.

"And the not so bad news?" Dad asked

"We've got no grenades, Dad." He nodded and opened the bags at isa isang binigyan ng baril si Ashton at Officer Cael.

Umupo muna ako saglit at kinuha yung phone ko. No signal. I also tried to contact the Emergency Hotlines but pare-pareho lang ang sinasabi. Lahat busy. It's making me nervous. We're now all by ourselves. All we have to do right now is to stay alive and make sure to get rid of those things.

While trying to contact also my colleague friends, I felt someone sit beside me that's why I turned my gaze and looked at the guy who's now also staring at me.

"Ahm, yes?"

"I don't know you have those things."

"You mean, the guns?" He slowly nodded and leaned on the headboard.

"I collect guns. I-its not a bad thing right?"

"What do you mean? Of course not. You amazed me." I heared him chuckled that made my cheecks flushed kaya umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya.

'Damn, having romantic excitement at this state is so weird'

"Guys!"

At nung makita ko yung kamay niyang ang lilikot, I already know he's nervous or scared kaya tumayo ako at nakitingin narin sa bintana.

'Shit. This is bad.'

The front gate is open. There are lots of them walking on the road at may konting nakapasok papasok sa gate. I could also see our neighbors walking with them. Bloods trailed on their shirts and bite marks on their neck, shoulders and in their faces. I closed immediately the curtain when one of those things glanced at us.

'That was close!'

"Prepare for the blood bath. We're on the move." Narinig ko yung pagkasa ng baril. I looked at my dad and nod at him.
