As I sat there confused between so many of teenage girls clicking pictures with those big cameras. I wondered how do they even handle that weight haha.. No I am really nervous..
"Let's get out of here" said Chin Hae as he grabbed my hand and started walking towards the exit of the cafe.
I was still unsure of what could happen in the next even if I knew how to handle these things..
As we sat inside the car and left the place, a silence that was flowing was stopped by Chin Hae speaking as he had noticed me looking out of the window with no expressions and without speaking a word..
"I'm sorry Aisha.. It must have made you uncomfortable. It's my fault that I forgot to wear my mask.."
"No, that's okay. We all are humans, happens sometimes. Please don't say sorry, it makes me feel bad haha!" I said trying to make the atmosphere light.
"Still.. We couldn't even have our breakfast too. Wanna go to home back?" He said still being worried and sad.
"I'm really okay Chin Hae, don't worry. And sure let's go to home. You had any way promised me to bake cookies for me remember?" I said smiling at him.
"Sure" Chin Hae replied as he giggled to himself while driving.
We soon arrived back to his house and we went inside.
"Oh you guys are back?" Asked Chae Won sister.
"Yes, we had smoothie together!" I said excitedly.
"Wow really? That's really good! And what about your breakfast?" She asked again.
I noticed Chin Hae looking down at his feet still feeling bad about the situation that had happened.
"Ah, Chin Hae had promised to bake cookies for me so we came back!" I said smiling at him.
"Aww that's really sweet then! I'll set up the kitchen and ingredients for you then Chin Hae!" Said Chae Won sister as she walked in kitchen to prepare.
"No no sister in law, I'll do that by myself. You get some rest" insisted Chin Hae.
'Why so sweet Chin Hae? How can I even imagine to get back without making a sweetheart like you a part of my life?' I thought while pouting at him.
"Okay then! Good luck! Impress my sister Aisha with your baking skills today" said Chae Won sister as she walked back to the living room.
"Yes! Here I go~" said Chin Hae as he wore the apron.
After waiting for a while, chit-chatting with Chae Won and playing with Hwa Sik, I could soon smell the freshly baked cookies~
"Ta-Da! Ready~" said Chin Hae as he walked to me with a tray of cookies.
"Serve to every elder first, then me" I said and indicated towards the other family members.
"Oh yeah right" he said as he handed everyone a plate full of cookies.
Everyone of us loved the chocolate cookies a lot!
I was having another cookie when Chin Hae took off his apron and sat beside me on the couch rolling his sleeves of his hoodie back and said,
"I'm still sorry for today.."
"Hmm? What happened today?" Asked boss Soo Yun.
"Mother, I forgot to wear my mask and everyone gathered around.." explained Chin Hae.
"You should be careful Chin Hae. Especially when you are going out with Aisha. We have promised to take care of her after all" replied boss Soo Yun.
