A World Full of Pain, A Heart Full of Love

His Beginning: Part 6

'Well...um...if you were sealed into someo-one that wasn't me, then how would I see you?' Naruto says.

'And...I lwook a lwot wike the Fourwth Hogake,' Naruto continued.

The fox looked at Naruto. He was pleased that his jinchuriki was not stupid. He was very surprised that a kid this age showed this level of intelligence. 'Kid, you are the son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki', he said.

Naruto doesn't seem too shocked. He plays with his fingers as he takes in the information.

'So...awre you sealed in me?' Naruto asks.

'Yes, you are. If you want to come back, just ask. You don't ask out loud, just say it in your mind.'

'Okay! So-'

Nauto stops talking, as he realizes that his body seems to turn into mist.

'You are waking back up you have about two or three minutes until you will completely wake up,' says the fox.

'Oh...hey, Mr. Fox?

'Yes?' the fox responds, no longer phased by the name.

'What is your name?'

'What do you mean? I just told you my name?' says the fox, completely shocked

'I don't think it's youwr real name, though.'

'What do you mean?'

'W-well... I have blonde haiwr, just like you have nine tails, but my name isn't blondie.'

The fox sighs, but in reality, he feels his heart thump irregularly. He feels strange...like the kid actually cares, but he knows that couldn't be the case.

Naruto walks into the cage, approaching the gigantic fox.

The fox flinches as Naruto approaches him, thinking Naruto was going to hurt him. Naruto seems to notice this, as he slows his pace and says in a small, kind voice 'I won't huwrt you. I'll never huwrt you. I'll love you forever.'

The fox's eyes widen as tears fall down his cheeks. The brat truly cares. He has never received this much care from a human before. 

Naruto continues to approach the fox. He stops in front of the fox's legs, looking up at his face, and motions for the Tailed Beast to bend down.

The fox hesitates, still weary. He eventually bends down to the kid's level.

Naruto touches the fox's moist nose, patting it soothingly. Kurama flinches at the contact, still not used to the kindness of the small human.

'Don't be scawred. I love you, remember? I won't huwrt you, okay?'

'You are really something else, kid.' the fox mumbles, 'My name is Kurama,' the fox states in a clearer voice.

'Okay, Kurwama!' Naruto says happily.

'Oh, I have anothwer questin. Do you have any friends?'

'Um...I guess. There are eight other Tailed Beast like me.'

'Do they have...jin...jin-jinjuwicki?' Naruto stumbles over the word.

'Yes, they do. Well, except for the Sanbi. Sometimes we see each other, but it's only every few years.'

'Do you like it in the sewer?' Naruto asks.

'Well, it's not exactly what I would prefer.'

'Is that big sticker the seal?' 

'Yes,' Kurama answers.

Naruto turns away from the fox and starts to walk to the iron bars of the gate.

'Hey, Kit?' Kurama asks. He decided the nickname would fit Naruto, as he was as kind, innocent, and delicate as a baby fox. 

Naruto reaches the bars and starts to climb up the bar that has the seal on it.

'Kit, What are you doing!?'

Naruto reaches the top and rips the sticker off. A blinding, white light shines where the seal was supposed to be.
