Today we were told that we would have our comeback on 22 May. Why so sudden? Wasn't it planned to be in June? At least we were already done producing and recording the songs and the choreography just needs some touch up. Practice and more practice was left after that.

Everyone also had to do a special on 24 May, in our respective units. It was less than a month away. It was sudden, definitely causing stress in the 4 of us, me especially.

For our new song titled 'Swimming Fool' , the choreography starts with us on the floor. But since it was a comeback special, we were asked to do something special and decided on this. We would be hanging from the ceiling with red ropes, and tumble down, landing before lying on the floor as the start of the performance. It was an interesting move, something we had not tried before but was fun after we practiced a few times in our practice room. Also it would capture our fan's attention as we are performing first.

"Hyung! We need to go to the location for our special stage for the last rehearsal now!"

"Coming!" I shouted back to dino. The van which was taking us there was already waiting there, with an impatient dino tapping his foot in front of the van.

"Dino! Its still early, chill."

"But hyung! I'm so scared something could happen!"

"Nothing will chan. They already did all the safety measures. We will be fine. Just like how we practiced ok?"

Then, the china line came running towards us.

"LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Jun shouted excitedly.

An hour later, we were at our special stage. We had came early to have a rehearsal of the actual day while the rest were coming later in the day for the rehearsal of the other performances.

We were transported in mini 'cranes' to the ceiling, where there was a tiny platform and a very long red cloth for each of us. We had practiced using the cloth umpteen times already in our own practice room but the ceiling wasn't as high. I rolled the cloth around me and lay flat on the tiny platform, ensuring that the other 3 of them were also there, I sent an 'ok' sign to our manager below. I took a look around. From my vantage point, I could see thousands of seats lining the venue. Seeing how those seats would be filled with carats holding their carat bongs on the actual day, my heat started pumping faster with anticipation.

The music started playing and we jump-rolled ourselves off the tiny platform, unravelling the cloth as we went, landing perfectly and starting our rehearsal.

After around 4 minutes, we were finally done with our rehearsal.

"Great work guys! We have an half an hour rest before the rest of them come for the other rehearsals. Let's have a rest and take a small snack!" I patted each of them on the back before we headed backstage.

I wanted to roll my eyes and cancel the call but I could not do so, or he would harm me. I hated being so useless and being his latchkey.

"Spoil seventeen's performance team's special stage on 24 April."

"Why do I have to?"

"Have I given the permission to ask me the reasons of my actions? I ask you to do it so you have to do it! Otherwise you can say goodbye to the things you love."

The things I love, or rather people consisted of 5 people. My aunt, uncle, channie hyung, his younger brother and hyung. 

"O-Ok father, please don't hurt anyone. I-I won't d-disappoint y-you."

"You better not."

The secret room meeting has ended.

I whipped out my phone and went to the contact named 'hyung'

I sighed, realising that we haven't texted for so long. I wonder if he would hate me after this.

To hyung:

Hey Hyung... How's being an idol? Please don't perform on 24 April. Something bad is going to happen. Please don't perform so you won't get hurt... Ask the other members to not perform the special stage too. I'm sorry for not contacting you for so long. Hope to see you soon.

PS: The next few chapters will all be about the special stage on 24 April 2017. The first would be two unknown povs, the second soonyoung's pov and the third jihoon's pov.
