"Wake upppp..." Hinata yawns.
Naegi responds with a firm shake of the head, burying his head back against Hinata's hair.
Often, it was Naegi who was the small spoon, but that changed today. Makoto had his chest against Hinata's back, the taller having to curl up so Naegi could fully envelop him.
It was a comforting feeling, nonetheless.
Hinata cracks an eye open, seeing the cloudy sky peeking through the windows. The two were completely bare, save for their boxers and socks.
Naegi took a long sniff at Hinata's hair. "What shampoo do you use?"
"Just that orange-scented stuff in the shower..." Hinata replies, pulling the blankets to shield himself from the cold winter weather.
Naegi only continues sniffing his hair, soft fingertips tracing over the freckles that clutter his shoulders and torso. Starting from the ones on the back of his neck, connecting one after the other like constellations dotting the night sky. In a way, Hinata was a constellation. Beautiful, mysterious, and always shining the brightest in the dark. Naegi closes his eyes in pure contentment.
Hinata was almost asleep again. The feeling of Naegi's delicate hands on his body made him want to turn around and kiss every single spot on his body. It was insane how much he loved the shorter one.
"I love you..." Hinata whispers over and over as Naegi continues gracing his lover's skin with lasting, soothing kisses. Each one made his heart beat faster and faster.
Hinata took their hands, twisting the glimmering, golden ring that laid on Naegi's left hand. He brings it up to his mouth and kisses it.
"I love you so much..." Hinata whispers. Naegi pulls his face back for one second, allowing his husband to face him. He cups his face, stroking his thumbs back and forth.
"I love you too," Naegi says. It doesn't take long until the two are trapped in a passionate, lengthy kiss.
